First Remove Blackout During the Champions Encounter...
This. Can’t even jump over the assholes. Wipe after wiper after wipe.
To then be met with a 16 Second Respawn...
Are you -blam!-ing kidding?

7 RepliesEdited by marcran75: 4/4/2019 3:33:29 PMBlackout actually isn’t that bad. Glass is the one I don’t like. That and Prism. Prism completely negates the fact that an elemental burn is even applied. They said a few weeks back that they would be removing prism and glass though. It might be somewhat difficult but I really hate the -blam!-ing nerfherder mentality this community has whenever something is challenging. SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP!! I have 159 Tier 3 clears and 95% of those were as a solo player.

Nothing like having blackout again today
-
12 RepliesNothing wrong with blackout. Makes it more challenging. Just be more aware of your surroundings. Hard concept huh??
-
They don’t even have to hit you to kill you, that’s the sad part.
-
Honestly they should remove all push while you are off the ground
-
4 RepliesThat hitbox. I'd say it has a good 20m radius. Whether you go around it or over it, there's a good chance when that axe comes down, your whole team is dead.
-
5 RepliesI don’t know how some of this shit makes it past testing. There’s a difference between challenging and straight up annoying. I hope they get some people who can tell the difference. 🙄
-
Use the pillars. No need to jump if theres something between you and them

2 RepliesEdited by GalaxySpider: 4/5/2019 6:41:22 AMWhy even letting them come close. Kill one guys first, then the other one WITHOUT making him rage. You can run from the well early, avoid the insta kill and still have enough time to finish the encounter. Have at least one hunter for the Thralls.

Yeah, both Prism and Blackout really aren't geared for this activity, but that's just commonsense. They just need to tone down stomping, period. A Wizard and Hydra shouldn't be able to stomp, also, if I'm standing on a pillar that's 20ft above the stomping boss, I shouldn't be pushed back. Finally, you should be able to jump over any stomp, and if your feet are not touching the ground, be unaffected by it, entirely. But we all know Bungo and commonsense are like water and electricity. These are the same guys that blow up the size of a normal enemy, call it a boss, and give it a stomp.

7 RepliesBlackout is nothing compared to light switch.
-
2 RepliesAh flashbacks to the bond Brothers nightfall when they stomp they send you flying into the wall which for some reason you died on impact.
-
I think getting launched in general needs a looking at.

Ya this is ridiculous! I rarely complain about the game challenges themselves, but this one is over the top!! The radius is just stupid. No way should a knight blast me from one side of the buff pool while I'm on the other side of the pool and in a well. One hit smash at 700 power and dead. .... that was in Teir 2!!!
-
Try way of the wraith... Lolololol Tier 1 reckoning with 9 shields, lvl 689 One stomp death. And I have to proc SS from point blank range. Let me ask the great bungulatron... Why exactly am I invisible up until I ACTUALLY NEED IT???? Stabbing from invis should remain invis for hunters.

This is what Bungie does to stretch out the content. Now they even recycle the boss mechanics. All to make it seem more engaging. But it's just being lazy, and not even attempting to design new mechanics to boot. Every damn boss has that stomp. Like, really Bungie?

3 RepliesNo. This looks to me like another fun equals easy post. What’s wrong with the challenge? PvE in this game is already too easy and boring.

2 Repliesaltho i will agree with you black out sucks as well as attrition and respawn time and if under light level can be frustrating infact somewhere around this forum i have a post pointing out just how much this sucked in the first week of release, with that said and the fact i play solo so i get matched up with whoever, these conditions are not impossible if your leveled up and have people who know what they are doing,im running a 700 l.l. warlock with well .ive had flawless runs with randoms on both endings -the knights are tuffer but survivable... to the post on the bridge issues , have a warlock with a well and a hunter teather stuff instead of worrying about the ads uve already been ftghting concentrete on the guy in ur path of progress the other stompers from behind wont get u if u use the block in the center as a barrier between you n them ......thats how i survive

1 ReplyI think I will just wait until next season to do tier 3 when my light is 750. It's just not worth the stress right now and it's not a fun activity most of the time. Overall I think last season was better than this season. But its not over yet. We will see what arc week brings and the revenant later this month before the final judgment. I just hope the arbalest can be earned or dropped soon. What bungie should have done was release tier 3 without modifiers first. Then as a host you could add modifiers the same way you can a nightfall. The harder the modifiers the better the loot.

I think the point is to kill them before they get close enough to slam you
-
3 RepliesWell made my mind up Game uninstalled. been trying for hours now just to do one of them. The most painful thing is they will not bother to fix it before reset make you feel ripped off!
-
1 ReplyI logged on yesterday, eager to grind out some Reckoning. Saw the Blackout modifier, and promptly exited my game. Not worth the hassle...
-
Horrible modifiers last night. With randoms and we got knights to ~20% health in no time then wiped. Knights just waited at our spawn point so failed the whole thing!!!

4 RepliesEdited by TotalDramaGamer: 4/4/2019 3:07:43 PMGetting giant minotuars on the bridge is honestly worse than the Phanlax's or Centurians (at first thought Centurians were the worst, because of their million + 1 damage axion bolts). They just mozzy up right to you and stomp... They don't even f*cking shoot. The invisible cucks literally walk up to you, stomp once, and two of your guys will fly off the bridge. It's beyond dumb. -- And don't get me started on the stupid pools of light in the Darkness lake room... It's bad enough you have, at max, 2-4 seconds to do DPS after the first pool of light (God help you if you accidentally knock both their helmets off at once). But cursed thralls... really... REALLY Bungie... why tf did you need cursed thralls? We ALREADY don't have time to deal with the knights (unless the modifiers allow you to melt them at the first pool). Who thought cursed thralls were necessary??? And if you lose your super to the black lake you might as well give up right then and there... you'll never get it back unless your teammates saved one super for the adds in the middle. -- Oh, bonus point here, NO HEAVY DROPS WHATSOEVER IN THE BLACK LAKE ROOM. I have never, once, seen a single heavy brick drop during that encounter. The hermits, or whatever tf those glowing majors are called, should have a high chance to drop a brick. With the lake that drains supers (and the push portals all over the place) you'd think that'd have been reasonable.

1 ReplyRun with a group or dps the boss, if everyone uses a damn super no matter what super then you’ll have even more supers to kill adds or dps the bosses
