If it’s such a broken gun why are you trying to get it?? Guaranteed if you had it you wouldn’t be crying for a nerf! There’s plenty of weapons that compete with it but your using a gun to act like that’s the only reason you’re getting smashed in crucible! Believe me you’ll still be getting smashed just off something else. Then you’ll be crying about that weapon and so it goes on

It’s not broken though. It’s actually just a good hand cannon. Sure if you miss any shots they’re winning but that’s with most guns. I run bygones, jade rabbit, and last word most of the time and have never had a problem where I lost the fight in an “unfair way” I think you’re just upset because you either lack the skill to acquire the gun or your complaining because you don’t know how to counter it

It is not a question of earning it. It is a question of balance. If you allow the best players to dominate the game the only achievement is the loss of good will among other less advanced players. Life if not fair, so this is not an argument to make the game fair. But it is a financial issue that Bungie has to accept as an opportunity cost. Unfortunately, maintaining the greater number of active players, means you have to given all players a reasonable expectation of success. This is not the situation now, especially in PvP in D2 right now. The gambling industry knows this theory of success is key to their long term profits. For example, someone with 2 million to gamble really has only a slight advantage to win more in a casino, than the guy that as 2 hundred dollars, but it is still a measured if small advantage. The key is that the guy with 200 dollars believes he has the same chance, as the guy with 2 million. Bungie can't do this successfully, give the average player a since of success, it appears. Bungie has given the better players the best weapons, and the result has been the average player becomes little more than a bullet sponge in PvP now. Even some of the best players I know, that were hardcore D2 fans, have left the game, never to return, the reasons vary but I can summarize them to 3 basic issues: 1) The horrible reward model now in place, especially in PvP competitive, I have herd this from friends over and over, not just average players, but very good players. There really does need to be an elite PvP mode that encourages elite players to play that mode. Trails filled this need, one wonders why trials remains offline... clearly because Bungie was not able or willing to but the time and effort into solving the cheating and other issues in trails in D2. Moreover, match making must actually work, which now it fails badly, for a number of well documented issues, which I will not rehash here. 2) Failure to respect time commitment in the game. When players are not motivated to even play the game, this not good, at all. One key to this issue is exotics that are not really significant. Another related issue is supers that are less than super as well. To a lessor degree is the lack of re-rolls and crippling enhancement cores... I have 120 cores right now, but it took time and effort to gain them, my friends, for example, refuse to spend the time and effort to get even 1/4 of that number... that is a real issue... they just don't want to work that hard, i.e. spend that much time, for bad rewards, perception or otherwise. 3) More content, more often that is not only significant, but engaging. The 3 man dungeons was one way to get causal players into end-game content without 6 man requirement, but Bungie seems to fail to capitalize on this idea. Match making should be everywhere and optional, many other games do this well, where every element of the game can be predefined teams or dynamic teams. Bungie takes months what other game developers do in weeks, how is this reasonable? Especially with the large number of games available, competing for game player time is key, and Bungie is not attracting players nor keeping players... this is for many reasons, but slow content release is definitely a big factor. Before 100s if not 1000s yell and scream I am wrong or whatever, I again state, I am not arguing that it is fair or not, only that the imbalance now in PvP has a real and negative impact on long term profits that Bungie, now, more than ever needs to secure going forward. And PvE, this need to gain players in the spin up to D3 release may and likely will force Bungie to act, to address the core issues that are driving players away from D2 now.
