How to make titans better (PvE)

Titans in D2 are just, meh. There’s nothing a Titan can do that a hunter or warlock can do better. In any high skill PvE activity (raids, dungeons, etc) titans are not necessary in D2. In D1, a Titan was a necessary part of ones raid group. Weapons of light was great, and almost needed for raids. It was a challenge in a way if you had no titans for boss fights. Hunters in D1 could take ad control/orb generation and boss damage. And Warlocks could take risky roles, such as luring the Shade of Oryx in Kingsfall, because self Rez. They also had decent ad control. In D2 titans have no role. Hunters have ad clearing, orb generation, and boss damage to such a great degree no class can really compete in those fields. Warlocks can heal team mates better, can reload team mates weapons better, and can empower team mates. Titans can weaken a boss with a melee. This weakening can be replaced with someone running tractor cannon, or can straight up be forgotten about. They are mediocre for ad clearing and boss damage. They are horrible for orb generation. They can reload your weapons half as long as a warlock, and in a much smaller spot. What made being a bubble bro so good in D1 was the grenade and melee on top of the great super itself. The melee granted an overshield that nearly doubled your health and regenerated, the magnetic grenades did so much damage that you could warrant using armamentarium, and if you were about to die, panic supering would regenerate your health to full rapidly, and you’d be safe from damage. In D2, grenades are significantly weaker, the bubble melee is weaker, and the time to pop a bubble feels much longer than it did in D1. Bubble can’t buff weapons. And can only give a horribly weak blessing of light if you have the Helm of St14 equipped. Bubble doesn’t generate orbs when it takes damage either. While inside of a bubble, your shields are pretty high, and your melee damage is increased, but the melee damage increase is fairly weak and very situational. Code of the commander is also fairly weak. While it’s neutral game is alright, the weapons of light it gives is so weak it barely manages to keep up with damage. Because you can’t join in damage, it makes it worse. The only encounter where it could be used effectively is morgeth, and 9 times out of 10 you won’t need it. Bubble has one exotic that helps it. And it does not last very long. So I have some ideas to fix this. Mainly focusing on possible buffs to existing exotics. 1) Ursa Furiosa. >Proposed Buff: along with its current perk, it works with bubble. Damage taken by bubble and by teammates inside bubble generates super energy. 2) Crest of Alpha Lupi >Proposed Buff: Damage taken by bubble generates orbs of light. Along with current perk 3) Heart of Inmost Light > Proposed Buff: Grants weapons of light to bubble. Whether or not the other perk is kept doesn’t matter to me. I hope this is helpful in any way to help Titans not be so useless. Titan main til the day I die. I just hate knowing that everything is easier as my hunter or warlock.
