To be honest it is already a slow death people just don't want to accept that fact. A majority of people I know that played D1 and did vanilla D2 didn't even come back for forsaken and those people were pvp mad man going in with no ammo swords and getting kills. Even if they made changes to bring back players a lot of them lost faith in Bungie already so even if they did do the D3 with pvped zones no one will come back to the game and those that are posting they will quit without pvp will still buy the game and continue to play it cause sadly that is a thing addicts tend to do.
