This is probably one of the worst iron banner events I have ever played
I'm not sure if its the matchmaking and joining losing games in progress over and over again, the bounties only rewarding loot at one light level above your current level, or the severity of the light level deference's. If I'm being honest with myself it's feels like a combination of all listed.
I don't remember playing iron banner in destiny and seeing it be this bad. I cant be sure honestly.

5 RepliesI did all bounties on 3 characters...While using Iron Burden self-nerf. And did the 500 kills with it. And had a blast. It forced me to learn how to engage and play better because most weapons other used seemed to one or two shot me. Overall still ended having positive KD and if you look at my lifestyle stats, I suck in PvP. Best Iron Banner ever gamewise for me and very good learning experience. Loot (armour) didn’t look cool.

1 ReplySorry my friend but I got to disagree with you on that. What I found was IB this season was a lot better basically because people were actually trying. I’m not sure if it’s because gambit isn’t popular or everything else offered this season is pretty much meh. I know a lot feel the same about the LL grind atm. But people were actually playing IB properly and Going for objectives instead of just worrying about their k/d ratio. As someone who plays IB regularly this was very refreshing

Enjoy IB, solo average PvP player, game outcome depends on team line-up :) Lost what seemed like a million games last night, not due to joining losing games but entirely because the other teams were way better lol. Armor is actually pretty nice, from a female player perspective, armor in general is light years ahead the first batch of D2 armor although still way behind D1.

It’s not worth doing anymore. The armors ugly as a hairless cat (to me anyway), most of the weapons are mediocre and it’s all in all a terrible experience

5 RepliesI played hundreds of IB games last season. I made it about 5-6 this week. For me it was a combination. I am not grinding out another 50 levels with this infusion/progression system and so with power mattering, I was disadvantaged. This was compounded by liking to run double primary in IB, so with no special, I was at an even bigger disadvantage. Then there's whole buff/debuff they did. I was not going to go grind PvE for it, but what it created was a situation where even the games that had close Power Level players, could still be tilted by buffs. They should've just dropped power mattering in IB. Instead they ended up making games more broken.

3 RepliesMy husbands having a great time in Iron Banana. He already got his 500 Burden kills, and he's been enjoying taking out meta-sheep while under the Burden. Hell, he was on a team with this sweat rocking a Threat Level, Lunas, and 1k Voices, without the Burden either, and my husbands efficiency was still better lol Point is, its what you make of it. Sure, he gets super frustrated loading into losing matches or being spawned in front of the enemy that JUST killed you with their super, but he still had fun. :) We're parents too, so anybody can get those 500 kills.

Can't complain about it. The changed bounties are way better. And iron burden made every match harder. Personally, I enjoyed it way further than last season.

9 RepliesSounds like you didn't play IB when they decided Rift should be the chosen playmode. What a disaster that was. Rift was too high of a concept for 90% of the players as it was and to have that in IB for a week.... that was truly awful.

1 ReplyI made a post very similar earlier. Meh is what I said. Meh weapons, armour, game mode, maps. I completed all 7 bounties for my Hunter. Got the armour and thought. Meh.

7 RepliesI enjoyed it.. got my 500 kills and the fusion. It was a fun challenge running at 594 and taking on 625 and over (most matches) Some were brutal but most of them I did very well in. Even pulled a 30+ kill game. My only issue was the reward... if you have Loaded Question, which I do.. then its kinda pointless as LQ is way better in PvE. Had it been a solar or void fusion that would have been more desirable for me.

Meh its not too bad. Surprisngly my Loaded Question is doing awesome. I forgot I had left it on, it takes a bit to charge but people dont expect it.

so laggy so not worth it. i remember looking forward to iron banners but this is just a meme at this point. teams need to go agains teams not solos and laggers need to play with laggers.
