I'm not playing this game anymore until enhancement cores are removed
I have 3 pieces of armor and 3 weapon slots that are higher light than the gear i have equipped.
I like my equipped gear better than the stronger light gear.
The problem is I don't have the EC to infuse them.
This game is already nothing but grinding. Add to that the loading takes forever.
Add to that the matchmaking takes forever.
Now throw in having to suspend your quest that you've been slaving on because you have to put in a ton of time earning EC because your gear is too low or could be better.
EC are an unnecessary time consuming step that slows down what you WANT to be doing like questing, missions, raids, ect...
I know Bungie said they are going to make them easier to obtain but it's too little too late in my book.
I'm not laying this game again until EC are removed. I'm not going invest that kind of time into getting cores anymore. I'm done. There are lots of other great games out there Bungie, just remove the damn cores already.

its not that bad of a problem, sure it's annoying and pointless but you should find items in your inventory called "finest masterweave" or something.. looks like a red cube... just keep using those and you'll get a bunch, and visit spider and buy 2 a day. as you get near the light cap you'll start surplusing on cores as infusion becomes more rare.

20 RepliesThe cores weren't even the reason I stopped playing D2. There are an absurd amount of issues in this game and some of them haven't been fixed in over a year or no effort put into this game to actually improve it. Think about this for a moment. Tell me how working on creating more Emotes is a "necessity" for this game? There are so many stupid small petty things this company works on instead of doing their job as a developer for the amount of money paid to them from the player base. I don't care if anyone calls this complaining or whatever... the lack of effort they have put into this game to improve is the issue. The thing is, they could be adding some small things that are important to the game that is (really simple to add) and it would make things better for the player base. Can anyone tell me how Bungie "needs" an entire year to bring Factions back, as if they haven't had well over enough feedback about them?

Do you know which activities drop the 3 weapons you like to use? I imagine 1 of them is an exotic, so that one will be more difficult to get a higher version of. But if you know where your other 2 drop from, maybe just grind those activities. Then you can just get a higher power version, and only use glimmer to infuse it?

4 RepliesYou simply dont need to infuse that much during levelling. I used all my favourite gear while levelling. I didn't infuse, I kept it at 650. Why? Because none of the content other than the Reckoning requires a high light level. I then infuse when 700. Blues and legendary gear I don't like stays in my inventory until I get a higher drop. If I drop a piece of gear I already have then I infuse for 5000 glimmer. I get to play with my favourite gear while levelling and I don't use many cores. Quite simple really. Also the cores I accumulate while levelling can be used to infuse well rolled gear from the new content and masterwork special items once I've hit max light.

its not just about cores. Prime is the worst. also PvP is just pointless to play bungo just do nothing. bungo if Destiny is going to keep going and players staying you need to take the game offline and fix it

Loading screens are the real D2 grind. Spider's bounties require loading screens between every core and so do the scrapper bounties. Add to that the grind for LL and you're in loading screens constantly between the tower, tangled shore, dreaming city, flashpoint, strikes, pvp, etc. They just don't play their game very much at all(regardless of what dmg lies about). I thought D1 loading screens were tedious, but D2 is just lousy with them. Everyone blasts Anthem for loading screens (which ARE bad), but D2 is every bit as bad. The only difference is you get fooled in D2 with a floating ship and then as flying ship into thinking something is happening.

Put this on a different social media platform if you’re serious. Something like Reddit or Twitter where the devs actually take the words seriously. I mean, look at these comments. How can anyone make any type of solution when the Destiny forums are pure toxic.
