I was wondering if the wonderful people over at Bungie or anyone in this great community could explain the solo matchmaking criteria (for quickplay) and how the game decides who's going to be on the same team?
I lose way more matches than I win when I'm playing solo and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to change that.
I know, I know do better right? Well Idk how much better I can do. I'm consistently 1 or 2 on my team and I play the objective. I don't care about my stats, I'm really just trying to win. That all being said my lord do I get paired with the bad players more times than not. Don't get me wrong I'm no pro and I make my fair share of mistakes but it doesn't make sense that seemingly every team I'm on has an incredible skill gap between myself and positions 3-6. In contrast I don't see that large of a gap on the opposing teams (if going by post match stats alone).
FYI I'm not talking about when I"m paired against 4-6 stacks. I'm talking about matches that are primarily comprised of solo players.
Out of 16 matches I played yesterday I lost 13. it was rough! Idk maybe it's just coincidence and tonight when I play I'll be on the better teams the whole time. It just really feels that there's a component to matchmaking that's putting me at a slight disadvantage when picking teams.
