-Go play a quest you've already done before.
-Now go play more crucible.
-Now go play more gambit.
I honestly don't know why I expected anything different. This is what Destiny is now. An arbitrary assortment of meaningless chores as opposed to engaging questlines with unique flow and encounters to them.

9 RepliesThe thorn quest started so great! They gave you different options to complete it. But then the last step forces you to play crucible like most of the other exotic quest. I played one match and got 1% completed. I hate crucible so much because mainly I'm awful at it. STOP FORCING CRUCIBLE OR GAMBIT ON US!!! You're killing the game!

To be fair, Bungie is pecker slapping their players. This whole thing has always been a power move. "We know better than you. Play our way. Not, not like that. ::NERF:: Like this." I do think Bungie enjoys pecker slapping their player base. I also think they all drive a Prius and enjoy the smell of their own farts.

3 RepliesThey really need to stop making their unbalanced garbage crucible part of pve quests, no one wants to do this and if they did want to play crucible, they would play crucible! why does it have to be implemented in the pve quest lines.

All quests should have the option of doing both PvE or PvP activities. Making players do an activity they dislike isn't fun.

1 ReplyI agree... and then after you grind and grind for that light they come out with a “new” dlc of old crap and let everyone get their light up to almost max within and hour. Awesome job. You already lost me when you blew your dlc last year along with many more but I came back when I thought you were back to making a good game and now this crap. I also am doing the quest for the vanguard side and my 63 motes didn’t count for the 50 motes needed and no I had no lost motes

Bingo do the maths your pve community as it stands is more than your PvP community so give up on this stupid idea that destiny can be a eSports isn't going to happen and stop putting god damn crucible steps in every quest or is it that you have zero ideas so you just copy and paste no wonder were down to 4% of the community

You have said multiple times that if you don't like crucible, then you don't have to play. Unless you want the really cool exotics then you kinda have to play. And oh yeah if you suck then it is going to take a really long time.

1 ReplyWow. I'm on the Gambit step now, didn't realize that was it. I'll hold out hope that more will be added to this Quest over time, but I completely agree with what you're saying about it feeling like a bunch of chores, and no engaging story woven into them.

3 RepliesYep. 2 hours worth of gameplay with nothing in the end. The imagination at this studio at the moment is equal to zero. The agile of development seem to be non existent.

6 RepliesThey are out of ideas. What fascinates me is they were provided access to studios to create new content and this is what they came up with: Horde modes. Bounties to do things in activities. 1 round Gambit. They had studios to help them and the money was spend on this. Not new stories for the exotic. No, bounty chores and horde modes. Activision probably couldn't be happier to have gotten away from these bozos.
