3 RepliesThe problems of one generation are strictly because the previous generation screwed up somewhere.
-
Nah, those are the people that couldn’t watch those shows because their fundamentalist Christian parents said it was the work of the devil.
-
Yes, I am sure that everyone in today’s generation just gets offended by every single thing.
-
South Park is the greatest television show ever. It has utter nonsense along with realism that other shows either can't possess or don't have the balls to do.
-
Now that you mention it, it is rather strange.
-
Direct result of politicians, both left and right, looking to score cheap points via disingenuous word-twisting IMO. "He gets two scoops of ice-cream?!" "She criticised Israel? ANTI-SEMITE" Etc etc. Theres a long laundry list on this one.

1 ReplyI’m 39 and at times I see myself inching ever more into the territory of those “old people” who’d say things like “back in my day” and “I’ll teach my children better” etc. Luckily I haven’t had the luxury of acquiring dad shorts and white New Balance shoes... ...God I pray I never turn into THAT kind of dad... Yes. People shouldn’t say mean things and everyone should get along with everyone else. But that fauxtopia doesn’t exist. Just like how I believe drivers in California should use their turn signals and not stare at their phones while driving. But again, the fauxtopia where people actually follow the LAW doesn’t exist... sadly.

2 RepliesLet it be known that the 1999-2003 generation does not associate with today’s youth
-
6 RepliesC'mon old man, it is stylish and cool to be trigger! Don't be a square man!

Man most teens between 16-19 right now are pretty harsh. Currently there’s another trendy app called “tic-tock” and the fan base (mostly 16-19) built it up based off of mockery and harassment. It’s hilarious to see such an outlier group among the millennials.
-
I watch neither and I'm not easily offended...

1 ReplyI prefer the South Park approach. Nothing is sacred, it’s never too soon. They don’t like to draw lines and I can respect that because in their case they make fun of everyone.
-
1 Replyback in my day I had to walk uphill both ways through ten feet of snow to get to the mill where I worked for 20 hours straight fighting elk so I could save enough for stale bread crusts to feed my family and graduate college at the age of 5

18 RepliesI don’t know about y’all, but my thick skin didn’t come from a tv show......I had parents that toughened me up.

6 RepliesLet’s just forget the 70’s and all that bull shit so our complaints on current generations seem to have merit.
-
I, on the other hand, have never seen a full episode of South Park or Family Guy, but I was raised on PBS and NPR, so I'm fulfilling a cosmic destiny by being offended by everything
-
I'm uninformed about an issue brought to my attention by an "influencer" time to attack random people on Twitter.
-
offended by everything
Or
watching South Park
I mean... Pick one?
-
Not the same people... And it's never the actual people, it's always some spoiled rich kid taking offence on others behalf. Bigotry of low expectations at an all time high.
-
I’m pretty sure these people didn’t watch that. Can’t just generalize an entire generation.
-
Everything can be pretty overwhelming.
-
I too browse Facebook and see memes that people share
