I've been in relationships for probably about 12 of the past 13 years. My most recent breakup has made it a very difficult life change. I'm not used to it at all, I'm always used to someone else being there. I'm sure I'll get used to it again, it's just been so long.
I'm pretty sure I'm done with relationships for a long while, I've wasted too much of my life on them already, time to start doing what's best for me.
So for all you single people out there, how's that lifestyle? And any ideas on what I can do to best adjust to it?

2 RepliesDistract yourself with other people’s company. It might be better. But don’t let the whole thing bring you down.

1 ReplyIt sucks. My wife left me last September after 18 years. Thank god I have dogs to come home to but I’m so lonely and depressed some days it’s so damn hard waking up and getting dressed.

I haven't had a boyfriend since sixth grade.

6 RepliesThe grass is always greener. As a married man with a young kid I’m always envious of people who have free time and no responsibilities. The idea of being able to play video games, watch a movie, go out with friends and eat whatever I want, whenever I want sounds pretty awesome. Of course the trade off is I would be without my wife and kid - which wouldn’t be so awesome. But maybe try to see it as a positive. Now’s your chance to do all the things you couldn’t do when you were married.
