If Redrix's Claymore is going to be a decent pinnacle weapon in pvp, then the length of time that desperado perk is activated needs to be lengthened. There is not enough time to get a head shot and then find another engagement to use the perk on for the most part.

You can dupe the perk a bit. Just when outlaw is about to run out, shoot then reload again to get the perk to reset. You should instead be asking for an outlaw mod

1 ReplyEdited by Erijian: 2/26/2019 11:46:37 PMOr they can buff high impact Pulse Rifles in general. 23b/36c would be the best solution there and would allow them to: 1) maintain optimal TTK at range 2) kill 2- resi players in 4c+2b 3) kill 3+ resi players in 5c+1b

3 RepliesEdited by Dano2point0: 2/26/2019 8:28:51 PMIt's already a longer duration than Kill Clip. How much time do you want?
-
If you get desperado going, you can empty the magazine twice really fast. I think that's good enough.
-
6 RepliesThis gun needs major improvement. I mean how can fkn Bungie make us work so hard for this weapon and give us what it is. The effort in the quest should not have us find other better weapons in random drops. What a fkn joke. I literally wasted a whole season chipping away at this quest. Wtf is wrong with you Bungiie??? FIX THIS GUN!!!
-
I read this as despacito.
-
1 ReplyIt needs something for sure... so many better weapons and yet Redrix took waaaaay more work to get. Sits in the vault...
-
I think what you need to do is shorten the time of you gittin gud xD
-
It's kind of funny how it's not really that good of a gun to use, but if it were possible to consistently hit every headshot it would kill as fast as luna's howl without desperado. Accuracy is such a pain in the ass on those pulses.
-
1 ReplyIts fun in low level pve..lol.. what a disappointment
-
Edited by meatballsublime: 2/26/2019 4:28:14 PMThe perk is largely meant as a crowd control perk, not as a hunting-for-kills perk. Just sayin'
-
Silly workaround is to fire one shot once you proc desperado and just before outlaw disappears, reload again. Extends the time just a little bit but it’s something.
-
3 RepliesHonestly if the perk would just stay active until you reload should make this weapon feel more like a pinnacle weapon or have the perk activate on all kills rather than just when outlaw activates. Or have a health boost when you reload with outlaw active.
-
The sight on it is the only reason I vaulted it forever And the arctype
-
4 RepliesFire the gun and then reload again as you’re moving It resets the perk duration
-
41 RepliesOr...make the gun a 390 archetype, add 10 stability and leave the perk alone. The archetype and recoil are the killers, not the perk specifically
-
That would definitely make it over powered. I like it the way it is and have fun with it PvP, though for initial kill, I much prefer Go Figure. It's also great in PvE with backup mag loaded on.
-
22 RepliesIt's a nasty gun on it's own. It does not need fixed. You need to practice more with it and learn to use it better. It's TTK with Desperado active is absurd, you need to just land your shots
-
2 RepliesI want to use this so bad but bygones and blast furnace are just better.
-
3 RepliesThe gun is super good and desperado last more than enough time
-
There is more than enough time to get another headshot...
-
4 RepliesAnd give us better sight options. The sight on Redrix Claymore and Broadsword are crap compared to Bygones and Blast Furnace for example.
-
1 ReplySimply change it to Trace Rifle and make cluster bombs with Desperado.
-
Disappointed by how it performs in this sandbox sure before forsaken it was great but it's not as competitive as it could be for a pinnacle weapon
-
1 ReplyEver been shot by it? Me neither......says it all. Pinnacle weapon, nope but could be with some tweaks
-
Give it siva clusters or wolfpack rounds
