Bungie: If You Continue To Ruin PVE With This Ridiculous Failed Balance Approach, This Franchise Deserves To Fail

10 RepliesAre balance issues the worst problem with Destiny 2 PvE? Or is it a lack of fun, engaging and meaningful content, not enough worlds/areas, really terrible and boringly predictable AI, etc.? I'm not saying that PvP weapon and gear balance issues aren't adversely impacting how they work in PvE, because obviously they are, but that's an issue with how Bungie does the balancing (i.e. Bungie promised to balance PvP and PvE separately, yet clearly they lied :P), not because the presence of PvP in the game is itself necessarily a problem. But getting rid of PvP at this point isn't going to solve Destiny 2's major issues with PvE, such as a lack of fun content that is replayable, it won't fix basic game design flaws where bosses, mobs, etc. are either bullet sponges or have some ridiculously convoluted mechanic which must be performed in order to kill bosses or bosses remain immune, all because of a lack of a decent AI, etc. PvPers will always complain about balance issues with guns, gear, subclasses, supers, etc. because even tiny changes in those game mechanics unfairly imbalance the game. But that doesn't mean that Bungie should ignore the impact that their PvP changes have on PvE, and dealing with PvP balance issues shouldn't be used as an excuse for not dealing with the major issues with PvE on Destiny 2 in terms of lack of meaningful content, progression, or indeed, fixing drop rates for everything from Exotics to Dreaming City ships and emblems and shells, broken Triumphs, bad pseudo-RNG, etc.

15 RepliesI'm guessing they have 1 super op gun in that secondary slot coming in the new dlc. Weakening the EP will mean there will be a new meta weapon that requires the new dlc to own. It's why they shat all over scout rifles before the forsaken and bows come out.

Grinding for powerful weapons is literally the point of the game. Nobody cries about legendary or rare guns being better than others in Borderlands. They're supposed to be better. Stop catering to the crybaby neckbeards. All they do is ruin the game for normal players.

It is an amazing looking and feeling gun. That’s why I’ve mainly used it. I do miss sniping. All I want is a an energy high impact sniper with snapshot and firefly. Too bad those don’t exist in D2 :/

Yes bungie made a assload of cash off us so many years saying it's gonna get better..after 3 years there was so much to do. Then D2 started. The highest hyped lie ever pulled off. Then a complete year of shit. Then they let another studio make foresaken and it was almost playable again. Then the dawning come out and millions jumped ship. They ran out of excuses and time. This company is always charging the most for doing the least. The games bipolar and neither side knows wtf is supposed to be or do. Loot and shoot.. boring shoot and crap loot. Yes they can give the game away for free or $5 to pretend people playing. People arnt. Friends lists don't lie. They are gonna recycle and suck every last drop from this pile. But make no mistakes. You will not receive anything that requires real work to code or change. A season of Gambit? After a lifetime of chasing meatballs etc already? Running the same shit for a new crap gun isn't fun or worth anyone's time. Okay bathroom times over. Back to anthem
