So, what is the Leviathan described in the Book of Sorrows? Well, I personally believe it’s a sort of “grey line”, that grey line we have been trying to find for a while, also mentioned by Shin Malphur. The Leviathan supposedly guards anyone from entering the Deep from the Sky, and vice versa. (Literally though, it’s like a giant whale/worm/thing.)
Notice, as you look back into the grimoire, the “++” and “- -“ you see ending and starting each of the Leviathan’s sentences. As the conversation starts, each sentence either starts with a “++” and ends with a “- -“, or the other way around. Perfectly balanced. As it continues, and the Leviathan wears down, the sentences and their previous “balance” wears down, with some sentences with “++” on both sides, same with the “- -“. Probably symbolizes how the “grey line” had begun to destabilize, blurring the line between Light and Dark. Hence why the Leviathan talks about his “charge depleted”.
On a side note separate from the Leviathan, I also probably found why the Ahamkara and Worm Gods talk so similarly. From the Grimoire card XLV: I’d shut them all in cells:
THE DRAGONS. Our gods should be ours alone.Their smug freedom is an insult to me. I’d shut them all in cells. Bring them to me!
Chances are the Ahamkara worshipped the Worm Gods / Deep themselves. That would probably explain how they get their answers, their ability to shape shift, and that drive to feed off of something.
Anyways. Tell me if I’m wrong.

However, I find it Strange that the Hive worship "Worm Gods" that are described as Dragons in that particular lore, while Ahamkara are also referenced as Dragons. This leads me to believe that the two might be relatives. Ahamkara being wish grating dragons and Worm Gods being the originators of the sword logic that the Hive worship. The fact that the dragons are described as having wings, like Ahamkara, AND being the Gods of the Hive, like Xol the Worm God (I don't recall Xol having wings) makes me strongly believe that the two are relatives (if not the same) and both considered to be Dragon/Worm Gods.
