Wait for next destiny sequel and purchase from xur. What a joke.

3 RepliesI honestly don’t mind the rarity of exotic drops. However, when Bungie says they “tweaked” it so that you have more of a chance to receive an exotic you don’t yet have and you keep getting duplicate after duplicate it can be frustrating.

I’ve learned that the longer and harder you chase after something, the rarer it gets. Do what I tend to do. Play the game at your own speed, and focus on other stuff. I’ve had like 20+ exotics drop just by doing that. Granted half of them been huckleberry, lately they’ve been dropping Forsaken exotics like candy lol

Seriously. I’ve played so much with my hunter over the last month. Still no shards. It’s almost depressing. How exciting is was to get year 1 guns tho.... I really needed another static rolled exotic weapon. Just taking out repeats on guns would most likely fix everything. Ugh.

13 RepliesYou know what's worse, more then half the exotics in this game are not even worth acquiring. Knowing that, once again after how many times Bungie has to bring back D1 exotics just to keep some of the gamers interest. It's a temporary solution for a big problem in this game. Hmm, here is an idea but don't tell Bungie this. Maybe, just maybe if this company actually created weapons that were unique like D1 weapons? It just might give gamers something to chase. I've been wondering if Bungie fired the original devs that created... Patience and time Icebreaker Touch of malice Outbreak Prime Black hammer, and many more weapons that had unique perks and designs, that worked well across the entire board that had that visual that gave gamers more of an incentive In wanting to run certain events to acquire them.

3 RepliesI have every exotic weapon in the game, all Hunter and all Warlock exotics. I'm only missing a few Titan ones because I neglect my Titan and don't play it as much as the others. [spoiler]The trick to getting exotics is to actually play the game, play enough and you'll get everything, simple.[/spoiler]

Take a break for at least 2 day minimum 4. Exotics drop everytime. Yep that actually work. 5. Enjoy the ... Not so worthy rewards.

4 RepliesOr just play the game? I got forsaken over a month late, barely ever raid or nightfall, and even I have most of the exotics in the game. Hell, if I played on my hunter and titan more often I’d probably have all of their exotics, but I’ve had all the warlock exotics for a while now[spoiler]Of course I’m missing a bunch of weapons still, but mostly that’s just because I haven’t done the quests or haven’t completed raids, I’m only missing like 2 rng weapons[/spoiler]

I haven’t gotten a Forsaken exotic drop yet. Only from quests and spider bounties.

I have had nothing but repeats for well over a month and got my first exotic drop today that I have had in 3 weeks which was another repeat while I am still missing exotics. This is not including quest type exotics I have most or all of them.
