What you just suggested results in every person using it and it makes for a super dull crucible experience. They need to make it to where most guns can be used and be used successfully, as in just balance the weapons.
They need as much diversity as possible. What they are doing right now is a disgrace to the developers because out of the hundreds of guns designed, you really only see a handful in the crucible. Why is that a thing? So many cool looking guns with nice perks just waste away because their ttk just don't match with the metas.

I see your point but I would argue that lots of weapons are viable just most people refuse to use them because they heard X or Y is the best in type from a forum or a YouTube video. Me and my clanmate were running round with ratking on equinox destroying people. Its about fun at the end of the day, which is why I understand the posters frustration but asking for the game and its components to be changed because it doesn't suit some people or they can't compete is ludicrous in all but the most extreme cases. Everyone one of my deaths in the crucible is on me, everytime my team loses and I played bad it's on me. Not our opponents weapons. Deaths and losses are a result of poor decision making, play to your enemies weaknesses and make it your strength. That's just a general FPS rule. If you get angry you may as well have already lost cause your judgement is clouded. Pretty sure Yoda says that but it's true 😅
