I'm tired of everyone complaining about losing in gambit when they play solo and it's always everyone else's fault. Guess what!? Its not them it's you. It's not the fact that fire teams play together and communicate, it's that the solo guys play as solos, not teams. Solo groups dont revive. Solo groups expect everyone else to take out the blockers. Solo groups decide that since theyve got 11 motes, they are going to go for 15 and get picked off by an invader because the other team plays smarter. Gambit is a team game, much like trials. Those that play for themselves, lose. Those that play for the team, win. It's not the other 3 guys, it's you.

I will say you have prolly a 40/60 shot in winning a solo queue Gambit match bc you can't coordinate correctly and that's if you just happen to get a good team but if you are going against a whole fire team of people in the same clan that are used to playing with each other your chances are about 10/90 even with a decent team and your only hope being that they suck lol

4 RepliesHow to win as a solo in gambit..... Forget about collecting motes. Equip a scout and start making motes. Kill the blockers ASAP. Revive fallen team mates. Save heavy for invaders, or invading.

16 RepliesEdited by FataLVisioN_Oo: 2/2/2019 12:54:25 PMIt's me? Earlier I was on my alt grinding a bygones. Banked 84 motes/ killed 87 enemies/ DEFEATED 31 GUARDIANS and we still lost. It definitely wasn't me. What the issue was is 2 guys banked 50 motes but they also both lost 27+... the other guy banked 2 motes killed 14 enemies and I forget how many he lost... on top of that they wouldn't kill the envoys when the prime evil spawned in they would just blow their load of heavy and super tickling the boss then stand in the middle of the map while the invader was invading healing the prime evil everytime they died. Every round we'd end up at prime evil 10 with a full health prime evil... it was like they were trying to lose with how terrible they were.

really dead on. I play solo plenty and you see that. Go in to see a taken mob at the bank. I am sure tons of them are working on some phase or other of a quest and that is all that matters.

Players be doing bounties....enough said.

I love the people that didn't tie the time to think before they posted lol. I've LFG'd teams before and listened to the guys gripe about losing in gambit, and they're the ones that expect the other people to kill the invader or take out the blockers while they do nothing but collect motes. The one that set me off was a player that got killed by invaders 4 times in a match while holding 10+ motes each time. Players that play for themselves lose, players that play for the team win. I've been in a few games where it was a stack of randoms on a 4 stack and won. I've been in a team of 4 that's lost to a solo stack. The teams that win are those that play to win as a team, not as an individual, that's the exact reason for gambit. It's far easier to win in PVP playing for yourself in most game modes, but with the amount of things going on in gambit, playing for the team is the only way you win. I could go on forever giving examples of this nonsense, but my point is quit playing selfishly for stats and play smart for the win, smh

Oh, I'm also not a sweaty elitist or a lifeless basement dweller. I play as a hobby and am an admin in my clan, a clan that's usually talking about anything but gambit while playing it, but manages to win the vast majority of the time, regardless of who the members are or what subclass they're running at the time.

4 RepliesEdited by CookieNiki: 2/2/2019 11:40:20 PMI always play gambit solo and I've won dozens of matches. Your point is invalid and the zero upvotes show how much it is.

9 RepliesEdited by KnightFJS: 2/2/2019 9:41:22 AMim a solo gambit player, i always try to go for 5 motes because any competent player knows small blockers are the best choice, i always revive teammates when possible and 95% of the time i pull top on the leaderboard. too bad its impossible to carry as solo in this game mode otherwise my win rates wouldnt be so bad. https://warmind.io/gambit/4611686018472946991 stop being a dumb brain dead and saying solo players are synonymous with bad players.

Hey guys, we are trying to get movie of the week and it would mean a lot if you could like the creation and get your friends to like the video also. It's a 2 man 3 phase SOTP boss kill Ps4. It's the servitor picture on the creations tab ( the one of the SOTP boss) Thank you very much and have a good day

Honestly when I lose gambit it’s probably my fault. Gambit honestly only comes down to invasion and nobody else invades or they suck at invasion so I go every time. The only games I’ve lost are the ones where I don’t get good invades🤷🏻♂️
-
Guess what. When you make over 70 motes, but your teammates steal all of them and get killed by the invader, it's not your fault.

Agreed bump

1 ReplyGambit is a good game mode, but can be very frustrating when playing solo. The thing I hate is that finally when you get 3 good teammates and win 1 or 2 games it decides to mix or throw you onto the other team of potatoes it just plain stupid. If you get a good team going it should keep you with the same players till one or more decides to leave. A 4 stack can do it continually why can’t it do that for a good team of solos. I’ve done it all solo but it was painful 😖.

When i do play solo que gambit i do the same role i do when i play with a team. I clear ads with fighting lion, snipe invaders with bite of the fox, and use grenades to take out blockers just before each round of ads is cleared. With a taken armament mod, that keeps me full of hammerhead ammo, so when the primeval drops i burn the witches with that, then melting point the boss at 2x or 3x slayer buff depending on my teams supers. Even doing all of that consistently (i always end up #1 for ad clearing, rarely let a invader get a pick off my team, and keep the bank clear) winning is still a roll of the dice. Constantly ending up with those clowns who insist on dying to ads with 10+ motes after they ran past the open bank, standing in the open when the invaders about to attack, not helping kill wizards, not competent at ad clearing, invading, or primeval dps. Its possible to carry a team by yourself in gambit. The only time you can is when the enemy team is just as incompetent.

I would play a lot more gambit if there was a solo playlist.

When I play solo I watch the match making screen, to make sure I don’t run into teams.

Who still plays Gambit?

Congrats, you have posted one of the dumbest, most nonsensical things ever posted on these forums.

I have always said that stacks are not the issue - yes, they communicate and may co-ordinate better, but they are not unbeatable! I have reset Infamy 9 times and I can honestly say, most of the losses I have had has been more to do with the team I was in rather than the team I was against - not all, but most. As solo players, you have to play clever ie bank small, keep an eye on other teams Mote count, invade only when it is worth it not just for the sake of it, summon the Primevil as soon as you hear you have enough motes and kill the Envoys as quickly as possible. EDIT: Unless my so-called team mate died due to their own selfish greed, I will stop what I am doing and revive them and allow them to pick up the motes, I will kill as many blockers as I can in-between killing adds - even as a solo player, I will always try to play as a team member.

You win some, you lose some, but most of the time when I lose it is because the other three players can't deal enough damage with their loadout, accuracy, and overall skill. I tend to invade, and while there are some great teams out there that have me before I even spawn in, most of the time we lose after I've invaded several times healing their boss and my teams boss meter barely changes. Also, I usually get players that stand out in the open all the time and die every time their invader invades. The difference for me is that I don't complain about it, because as a solo/duo only player in this franchise I know exactly what to expect and I don't have any cares how other people play. Sure, it'd be nice if other people set themselves up correctly for it to give the team a higher chance of winning, but they are playing how they want to play and that is fine by me. It's just a bit of fun. You didn't need to burst a few blood vessels, though.

Na it ain’t my fault if I always lol the invader and do 67% damage to the boss. When the idiots invade they always get clapped

8 RepliesEdited by CORE SwarmFIRE13: 2/2/2019 7:26:23 PMIt’s funny I have already beaten a 4 stack solo. One round they had banked 17 when we had primeval. But hey, I guess I am just a brainless player always going for 15. Edit-yall don’t understand sarcasm. I always bank small and often.
