Couldn’t have said it better. Destiny is the epitome of wasted potential. They’ve created an amazing universe and story and it gets squandered on this awkward and impractical gameplay model that doesn’t really work. They’ve attracted a wide range of player types and expect them all to play and like every aspect of the game. All they have to do is provide options for players to earn things and this wouldn’t be an issue. Instead they have kept it so rigid to the point that it feels like it’s suffocating itself.
