Compound Ether not dropping
Basic Sniper Rifle Frame

Compound Ether collected 0/25 - no compound ether drops from fallen.

3 RepliesFYI, my sniper frame disappeared from my inventory, after I was stuck not finding compound ether, but I was able to move on by completing Gofannan without a frame. I'm working on the next forge now. This doesn't help if you want the sniper, but if you're trying to unlock the forges, this worked. I also bought the hand cannon frame from Ada and completed it at the Bergusia forge first. I don't think that was necessary to moving forward with the forges, but that was what I did.

Why isn't this fixed yet? Either Bungie doesn't care, or their code is so screwed up they can't figure it out. In any case, this is a HORRIBLE way to run a company and manage a video game. How many people are stuck right now? I'm tired of reading, "We are investigating an issue" and then hearing nothing for days, weeks, or months! This has to be fixed now! Today! What are you doing over there??? At the very, very, least, update us on the situation.

8 RepliesSame here. Compound ether doesnt drop for my alt character after the reset. Was working fine for my main BEFORE the reset.

Seems like you are able to unlock the forges though. Only thing due to the glitch might be not getting/losing the free frames from Ada1 within the quests as far as I can tell by now...

Edited by Entropy: 1/30/2019 5:34:48 PMyep, exact same issue, was doing story yesterday since me and a friend recently got the season pass, we unlocked the first forge before the update, after update we got the fallen drop and started unlocking the second forge only to find out during the craft frame part that the compound ether wasnt dropping, got the vex transponder while trying to see if any other type of fallen dropped the stuff and logged off, only to log in today and see that the frame is gone from inventory, way to go...

I had the same problem with the sniper rifle frame: I already had the weapon core and no compound ether was dropping. I had to leave the house, so I turned off my console. When I came back to it, the sniper frame was not in my pursuits. No clue what happened.

OH. MY. GOD. This is garbage, I couldnt get the items to drop from fallen for the sniper rifle, so i abandoned. Couldnt get the radiolarium for the bow, abandoned. Just grabbed the pulse rifle and same thing, i got the core now i cant get the radiolarium. GG BONGO
