Crappy crucible requirements are ruining this game
Every time I see a quest step for anything with crucible now I refuse to do it, So I won't be getting the last word I guess, thanks bungie, for once again screwing over casual player with shitty crucible requirements.

I played, I think, four matches last night and I'm around 65%. I was over 1.5 for all of them except one I was .95ish. You hardly have to be a pvp God to get it done. Watch the matchmaking as the rosters are filling up and leave if you see any 4+ stacks (maybe even 3+ stacks). And if you get in a match and it's clear you're going to get worked over, just quit. It's quickplay - nobody's gonna care if you dip. Hell, if it's that much of a problem, wait until you queue up with a four or five stack and quit the match if you're not on their team. Assuming they're competent (usually the case, but not always), they should be doing enough killing to keep you alive and just focus on getting shots in and racking up those assists.

There are 4 weapons with Crucible requirements. Now lets list all the weapons that are PvE only requirements. Whisper Thunderlord Sleeper MIDA JadeRabbit Graviton Forfeit Sunshot Sturm DARCI Telesto Queenbreaker Lord of Wolves Cerberus +1 Legend of Acrius Tractor Cannon Huckleberry Polaris Lance Worldline Zero Black Talon Two Tailed Fox Wardcliffe Coil Rat King Riskrunner Anarchy Jotunn Izanagi Burden Le Monarque There are probably a few more. There are hardly any exotics that have crucible requirements. Stop complainging -

I am ok with some things being accessible only through certain activities, crucible being one of them. I fully understand I won’t acquire all weapons, gear, etc. That’s fine, I only have so much time and I am not skilled. If others have the time and inclination to grind for it, more power to them. One can’t be guaranteed everything in life and it should be fine if there are some things in Destiny only the very hardcore manage to obtain. One thing about this though, is I think the average PVP player should be able to avoid being subjected to annihilation by said weapons. In PVE let special weapons wreak havoc. In PvP I personally think there should be a playlist where all weapons are game and rewards are greater and another with lesser rewards but no OP weapons to deal with.

You could just accept the fact that the PVP aspect is the endgame of the game's content really. No one loves doing strikes 50 times.

Bro, all u gotta do is stay with ur team, I got the quest done using crimson in quicklplay, because of this quest, teams are 10x more cooperative and likely to stay In groups you’ll get it if u play safe, and assists count.

first a casual can get this so to rephrase lets say a below average cant get this gun second the quest isnt to hard just play reserved the PE part and lost sector farming is much more annoying

It's not that tough. I'm a casual player, and in 4 matches last night, I got 43% done. If you get a kill streak of 5 or more rolling, it helps A LOT. Just play quickplay and play smart. Don't rush in, pick your shots. The D1 Thorn and Chaperone quests were much worse.

PVE players going after the LW, best advise right here Here we go. The best thing a PVE player can do with the LW quest, is not play it. Just keep telling yourself, I don't need that gun. Why is this best you might ask. Well, I have read many of the posts complaining about the LW having crucible requirements. Most of those posts have PVP players saying "Its not that hard, I got it in 3 games". Do you know why they got it in 3 games? Because there has been an influx of those that either hate PVP, are not good at PVP, or never play PVP, going in trying to get the gun. All those people have given the PVP only crowd easy targets with little chance for the loss penalty. Just don't bother going after the gun, and those hard core PVP players will have to face themselves while trying to get the gun. They will have no simple opponents to steam roll, and will take losses like you do. Its as simple as that.

If it makes you feel any better, I am quite mediocre in pvp and finished both crucible steps in a total of 6 games. Running the lost sector 15 times was far more annoying. I know it’s disheartening if you aren’t a good pvper but your prolly better than you think

Only people complain about this step are utterly trash. Like why struggle and complain to get a crucible weapon if your a 🗑 and probably don't even play that much crucible anyways or do want it to shoot some thralls in pve lol git gud or just be decent because that step is easy asf
