It took way more skill to shotgun in d1 than it does now. I understand why shotguns had so much range when they were in the heavy slot but they aren’t heavies anymore. They need to be changed to d1 range for the sake of balance. I snipe and I don’t have much of a problem killing shotgunners but my teammates are constantly getting run over by them all game. It sucks when I have a 5.5 eff. but my teammates are all sub 1.0. New players and less skilled players don’t know how to combat shotgunners effectively and that’s why they are used so much. Let Sidearms, Fusions, Submachinguns, and snipers shine too.
