At least you would think that this concept would be very simple. I don't see why it is so very difficult for most people to understand that this is the basic principle of the game . . . even after Control has been around all this time. But you will see it happen every single match. Players will run right by a zone without taking a second to capture it when nobody on the other team is around. Then they probably wonder when the match is over how they got beat after they got 15 to 20 kills (if they are that good). It gets stale after a while. I understand that there are bounties and the like but winning matches and securing zones are some of them.

I keep seeing my team stand on the zone then they all run away to fight ONE dude leaving me to cap the zone and then get shot gunned by a weasel who uses dust rock blues. As you can see im really beyond angry, luna everywhere, shotty and wardcliff. Whatever bungie's pets did (streamers and youtubers) they sure ruined crucible for me. Gg streamers I hate you even more.

3 RepliesA patch/fix would be for the idiots at Bungie to get off their lazy asses and introduce new game modes for IB. Who else is sick of Control, literally all year long? Developers are lazy AF.
-
I find my team losing more because they try to capture points. Enemies got B and they just keep dying over each other trying to get through. Eventually the smell gets to the enemy, but it's already too late.
-
2 RepliesPossible fix could be....win or you get nothing at all. Imagine that for a few minutes before responding...
-
Too complicated, go back.
-
The bigger problem is actually people capping too much for me. Meaning we cap two and they all leave to get the third and leave the first two completely unguarded. Guess what happens? One if not both get taken. Genius guys. Why I wish they took that complete control bounty off. People are already that dumb without a bounty that requires them to do it.

While I sort of agree with the sentiment, you also need to shoot things to win. Capturing a zone in itself is not going to win you the game. It’s a combined effort. But yes, don’t run by the zone that would prevent the enemy team from locking down the caps. That means during that wolf hunt you and each of your team members would have to successfully hide or take out like at least 3-4 opponents each before dying for that remotely to be a wise choice. And even then...

1 ReplyIt’s control, not necessarily rotate around . Capturing a point and HOLDING it, gives higher points

2 RepliesEdited by Doogie: 1/17/2019 6:30:26 PMSorry, was busy getting six stacked spawn camped, what are you saying?

No. You win by running around holding your gun between your legs and shooting wildly. Everyone knows this ya scrub

3 RepliesLord Saladin voice is drowned by the spirit of telesto echoing in my head " burn your enemies with void energy guardian" my shotgun trembles upon my back thirsty for blood...the blood of scrubs.....as I charge recklessly across the battle field I notice a fellow guardian playing with a flag marked C. This tactic is unfamiliar. I charge passed him the wind created by my glorious speed whispers "git gud". I smile as I feel another guardian fall from the scattered void orbs I leave in my wake. I slide around a corner another guardian felled .... Lorde Saladins voice booms "enemy takes zone C, they have the advantage". I chuckle "I am the advantage".....

Some people don't care about control points or defending. Some people just want to watch the world burn.

When you end the match at the top of the lobby, 5.0 efficieny, lots of Captures, and Power plays, Then your teams second best is a 0.4 efficieny with no Captures, suddenly you know why you've lost. And by the goddess this happens to me, not exactly like that, but pretty close and way too often. I get yall want to get the bounties done but my dudes, please try at least a little bit.

1 ReplyEdited by RichGhost77: 1/17/2019 2:11:25 PMOnce you have 15 wins it's clash 😁 Or is it 7 wins? I forget. Either way, once that bounty is done, I just go pew pew with ma guns!

1 ReplyHow am I supposed to complete the 75 kill challenge, if I have to defend and capture a zone? Nobody has time for that, especially during fire pit clash week!
-
1 Replythis is false. You can win without a single capture.
-
2 RepliesYeah.. bungie made it control so those who suck at using there thumbs could have a chance.. I miss Iron banner clash. Any one remember in D1 when IB was Meyhem for a week? I do, was awesome. IB control sucks..
-
2 RepliesWhats the easiest way to get the shine on bounty for iron banner done on a warlock?
-
It's not like the game encourages lower light level players to play IB with powerful gear.
-
5 RepliesI've seen people literally spawn in next to a zone I'm working on capturing (with nothing on radar at all) and run right off. Yeah yeah, we know the excuses. Killing is a strategy, blah blah. IB needs to just be clash, it's the only way to keep things equal for everyone whether they're objective-minded or not.
-
bungie is also handing out wins to people that buy more silver
-
2 RepliesCapturing zones when you are way behind is a waste of time. When you get behind, go kill some people. Dead guardians aren't capturing zones.

8 RepliesEdited by O_Town_Racer: 1/17/2019 2:55:25 PMExplained: 1 - noobs playing IB without bothering to level up or learn about the game mode - playing solo 2 - people not playing the objective simply to pad their KAD (even though it means nothing in Destiny) 3 - people only playing for the IB weekly bounties, not caring if they win or lose Solution: Don't play solo - go into IB with a fully formed fireteam. This is the only way to guarantee everybody knows the rules and is willing to try to win.

2 RepliesCan we have IB Clash or something? I remembered how hyped people were for IB Mayhem in Year 3.
