Cancel the annual pass and refund it to all members. Pause the destiny franchise. Spend a year fixing the game into what they truly want it to be and then start working on new content. Otherwise nothing will be fixed.

1 ReplyClearly you don't know jack shit about the whole partnership between a developer and a publisher. And just like 75% of the Bungie fan boys you think this split only means good things are on the horizon when that's not even close to the truth. I partly blame the majority of youtubers (that I watch) like laymen gaming and youngyea etc. All these guys made videos about this and made it seem like this is a good thing. No, nah, no it's not. Lol. There is absolutely nothing good at all about the split between Bungie and activision. Well actually there is really only one good thing. Activision is finally free of Bungie and destiny. This really only benefits activision. Bungie and destiny is screwed.

3 RepliesPeople are really expecting destiny to get better. Realistically, it'll be less content at an even slower pace, with more microtransactions to supplement the 100's of millions that Activision is no longer supplying Bungie.

2 RepliesNothing is gonna fix the overall shallowness of this game. Not enough loot, not enough story content. Just endless rinse and repeat for crap loot.

3 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 1/11/2019 2:04:38 PMUh. No. What they need to do...and will probably do...is put Destiny 3 on indefinite hold. Now that the contract with Activision has been dissolved, access to High Moon Studios and Vicarious Visions is in doubt. So Bungie may have lost access to those 400 bodies (both studios did excellent work....they will be missed.) Also this gives Bungie breathing room to reconsider some of the foundational decisions with regard to game engine and development tools that have been handcuffing them for the last 4 years, because of Activision's ridiculous annual schedule. If I were them....I'd take time to compress the code for Destiny 2 better...so that they can continue to just expand this game while they take time to reconsider their options going forwards.

1 ReplyNever going to happen 😂 As long as the psn exclusive content deal ends, that'll be good enough.

As much as it would seem beneficial, it wouldn’t make sense for an online game to just “pause” for the sake of renovation.

They cannot refund anything, they are not the retailer and the bulk of that money went to activision. They cannot not make new content, now more than every they have to keep a revenue stream coming. What they can do, is fix things as they see fit as they have the freedom (somewhat) to move deadlines around.
