Well...the protection doesn’t exist. It’s easier to tell the destiny player base that it’s fixed when most players won’t actually check nor pay attention enough to see if it actually is fixed and with the drop rates still low...proving that the protection doesn’t work would take forever..assuming anyone will play long enough to acquire every thing. This so called “duplicate protection” is a placebo. The same way you can no longer see connection bars next to a players name in crucible like you could in D1. They didn’t fix connection, they simply took the connection bars away because they can’t have a bad connection if you can’t actually see it. You can’t complain about red bars in the crucible if there are no red bars. Same thing here....can anyone actually prove that the duplicate protection works? On the same note, can anyone prove that it doesn’t? No, because half the community will tell you it’s worked for them while the other half will tell you it hasn’t. That’s the beauty of when they tell you they have fixed something....you cant actually prove without a shadow of a doubt that it doesn’t work because it doesn’t actually exist. The duplicate protection is whatever you “the player” thinks it is. It’s like an air purification system....does it actually work...can you smell the odorless difference in the air around you? No, that’s the beauty in the product...it doesn’t have to work because no one actually knows if it’s doing what its supposed to do so essentially, a company can just sell you a really expensive noise reducing fan...yea.

Why bother? Anarchy will be nerfed soon just like 1000 voices was.

Also don't hold your breath on Anarchy, its a pretty trash exotic that doesnt count damage from the third shot onward.... Just more disappointment....

Well it is called "Scourge of the past". Think about it.

Last three weeks I have only been playing my warlock and titan as they each still need two pieces of Forsaken armor after nearly 800 hours of Forsaken..... And the past three weeks I have pulled 8 exotics from various sources, including 2 from Scourge of the Past final chests, and low and behold, not a single one was not a duplicate of garbage I already do not have. For real Bungie, just have Xur sell this shit already, its starting to get old and you are starting to lose your player base. Black Armory is one of the worst expansions to date, worse the CoO by a long shot, repetitive grinding of forges gets old after about 50 quickdraw/slideways armory weapons..... Fix the damn algorithm again and eliminate the friggen dupes until there is nothing new to obtain and have Xur sell Forsaken gear already, enough is enough!!!

Jeebus old exotics from the new raid? That's horrible. I haven't done the new raid yet. Now there's no way I'm going to try it if I know that there's shit-ass loot for it.

There is not a guarantee you won't get duplicate exotics. It's only [b]MORE LIKELY[/b] that you'll get new ones. By the way, I get a new exotic every other week. Stop trying to make it look like everybody is getting unlucky, because they're not. The only reason you get so much support is because the only people who come here are the ones who get unlucky. Other than me, people with normal luck are busy playing the game like a bunch of oblivious idiots who have no idea what's going on on the forums. Downvote away. I feel like exotic drops from the raid should be an additional drop, not a replacement for the raid gear drop.
