Why make us go through a plethora of sh!t before essentially playing the same -blam!-!ng forge we have done every week. It’s ridiculously long and drawn out.

8 RepliesEdited by Broken: 12/26/2018 10:54:49 AMSeriously!? you'd rather have complete random drops looking for the guns you want. At least the forges are a step in the right direction as far as obtaining gear you want. Not having to fully rely on rng. IE: You know where to go what to do to get the gun your looking for. AND you actually get to pick the one you want to forge! Sure it's repetitive, it's supposed to be. The mechanics are simple, that's a good thing! (Sure I can agree they could of put a twist on each of them outside of boss mechanics) Everyone can do this, and not get all uptight and worried about forming groups or worrying about syncing builds and what not (like raiding). I'm just glad we get to pick from some frames, and work on a gun we want. If they could do this with armor too that would be awesome for me. Sounds like a great way to spend an hour or so relaxing after work, drinking a beer, forging a weapon! Just get R done!

I don't mind the quest. Just can not stand the jumping puzzle part.

25 RepliesHow else are they going to get their quota? Think about it, they barely added any new content, didn't update the vendors, no story mission, no new strikes etc... so what's the next best thing to do when you barely add new content?
Waste a gamers time spent playing the game.
I like the grind because I know that anyone I'm matchmade with for the 3rd forge probably isn't some lazy -blam!- who expects a carry. After reading all these posts, it seems like the quest chain is working as intended. #FiltertheCarries

I'm gonna disagree on this. Having to level up again to get high enough power was overkill, but it takes maybe an hour or so solo to unlock the Forge and much less in a fireteam. Some of the steps could've been a bit more creative, but overall I thought it was okay.

2 RepliesEdited by SnakePayne86: 12/26/2018 9:18:38 AMThe forge is boring. Talk about lame content. Kill enemies, throw ball at hoop.
-
Agreed to everything you said and what everyone else has said. The forge quest are overkill and can be dialed down for semi-hardcore players who will still put in 20+ hour a week into the game. The guns are good, but nothing to chase after like the g-horn. I mean a bow is cute. Hahaha!! I wish they rewarded us with 10 enhancement cores every time we finish a step in the quest. I am sure people wouldn’t complain as much because the overkill would be worth it. On completion of each forge we got 20 enhancement cores. Then the grind would be worthy of playing every week besides this -blam!-ing RNG grind for enhancement cores. #blackarmory #enhancementcore #enhacementcoredrought

Just get it done. The Forge is such a breeze compared to the other two, so look forward to that.

I am at "618" and have refused to do any of the forges, it's just plain ole BS

Edited by Corrick II: 12/26/2018 4:24:57 AMBecause this is what Bungie does. After four years you don’t know this? They’re becoming the used car salesmen of video games.

I made up for the boring grind by always throwing my batteries to the other platorm instead of the forge. It's hilarious watching the other platform trying to figure out wtf is going on.

1 ReplySome of them, sure, yes. But I enjoyed doing the Advanced Insight Terminus strike solo, including the "get kicked to orbit upon death" modifier it also has. Made it more interesting and fun, especially for a quest step.

Edited by Hi babes: 12/26/2018 1:50:22 PMYep. I'm on the penultimate step on my second character but decided I can't be arsed with it. Edit: I can't be arsed with a lot of the content on my other characters.

5 RepliesBlack Armory is a huge miss for me. I just don't care about it. Guns...I won't ever use and forges I don't care about. Since I can get my light up for anything else.....No real reason to sweat the forges.
-
3 RepliesI did it then I had to get my mate to it when we got to the last step another mate jumped on D2 and asked to get him to the forge it took hours. I wonder if the 3 character guys have done it on all 3 yet?
-
I have noticed a lot of stuff is boring. When Forsaken dropped, it was fresh for about a week, then right back to boring repetition. Why do we have to go back and re-play old content for new quests? That's just boring re-hashing.
-
Then don't do it... Lol
-
Haven't even bothered finishing it
-
Shallow content and an unimaginative quest, annual passes are off to a great start.
-
Yeah, this will be the first time I dont bother with my other two characters. No way in f uck im doing that 2 more times.

3 RepliesEdited by skf4: 12/26/2018 2:44:35 AMIts fun to have to repair the Forge, and i does give you one of the most powerfull weapons in the game, Work for it!!

2 RepliesIt’s what Bungie does anymore, it’s called Artificial Difficulty, they’re milking us and it makes me angry... he he he.
-
considering the forges are utter shit I am not shocked they demand a shit load to unlock crap things
-
Look, I don’t mind some of the steps. I don’t expect it all to be new. But even I’ll admit this particular quest seems extra mundane!
-
They want us to drag a55 like my grandmas small dog does on the carpet lol
