Any one else getting this problem after todays update? Restarting does nothing, hard resetting console does nothing.
Really dont want to uninstall and download again, it would take days for me.
Update: Cousins xbox wont download the update, paused at 112 mb. But its doing it with another game too. Xbox live problem?

4 RepliesI had to completely uninstall Destiny 2 and all other add-ons for it from my 1S and download 85GB of stuff to reinstall it. For good measure I also did a full power cycle of the console before starting the reinstall. * hold down the power button on the front of the console till it turns off. * unplug the power cable from the back * wait 30 seconds. * plug it back in, turn on, reinstall. It's working again.

5 RepliesAlso having the same issue. Reinstalling didn't work but I am trying re reinstalling it. Another 89 gig download on my slow Australian internet

2 RepliesUpdate issue resolved Xbox One! Bungie reaches out and provided a solution that works for me. - Remove the disk from your console - Hold the on/off button until the console is off - Unplug the power cord and wait 5 minutes (clears cache) - Plug back in - Start console and uninstall D2 (to be sure reboot your console) - Re- install D2 It took me close to 4 hours but now it works. Good luck

Bump for Bungie

11 RepliesHi MkJA5. Appreciate you reaching out to us about this. Are you still encountering this error? If so, you may want to clear your console cache and check to see if that might help with your issue. If that doesn't work, you may have to try uninstalling, clearing the cache, then reinstalling the game.

1 ReplyAttention Bungie! Please provide some assistance to us who are still suffering the affects of your latest update. Some sort of helpful response would be greatly appreciated I have been playing Destiny for 4 years and have never had an issue of this magnitude.

11 RepliesEver since the update this morning Iv been getting the issue, I have uninstalled all the add ons and reinstalling Iv unplugged my whole Xbox and everything The only problem is that if I have to uninstall D2 it's a big game and it will take a whole day for it to finish
-
Same issue, Hurry up bungie and send a patch to fix this. I don't want to reinstall the whole game as it will take me days with my crap internet, plus i can see people still having issues after doing that.
-
2 RepliesHas it been fixed yet I'm at work can't check lol

3 RepliesExactly the same problem, here's my screenshot. I am trying to reinstall it now. https://imgur.com/pg3nhpx

-
Same issue here. Just tagging along to see if they post a fix.
-
Having same issues here bois and have been so pissed off with how crappy Bungie is with these sort of issues
-
I'm getting the same thing. I wanted to do my oracle offering today since everyone is talking about it
-
Same thing here cannot load game no matter what I do. Some sort of response would be nice from bungie
-
1 Replystill cant reinstall the game and havent found anything on any fixes.....
-
I uninstalled and reinstalled, the game is now, somehow, even more broken. It was making my xbox spack out. The shit is this bungo!? Why does this happen every update?
-
Yup same here...I even looked in the dictionary under incompetent and it was the Bungle symbol. Suppose that’s what happens when you test nothing hey Bungle?
-
Same issue here. Tried reinstalling and now the game won't even launch. It says there's an error with the system update. Kinda stuck now. It's like the latest update is not compatible with the latest xbox update from last week.
-
Mine was saying that so I factory reset my console, uninstalled and reinstalled and now it's saying there was a error in system update and won't even load d2 at all now, all other games work fine.
-
Same issue here, after reinstalling(As suggested by Xbox Support) I now can’t launch the game similar to many here. Xbox Support now says contact Bungie and this site doesn’t actually have a real way to do that so here I am... Was very excited to play the new Forge and Curse week stuff as I heard there was something cool but have since had it spoiled as I was unable to play the game first to see it myself so that’s ruined too :/

1 ReplyEdited by FluroNeko: 12/19/2018 8:41:50 AMMy game has done the exact same thing! I played the game fine last Thursday, did the update today and BAM! Won't even open the game, have power cycled, cleared cash etc etc even uninstaled/reinstall all the add ons, moved it from my ssd to internal and back again and nothing works! Too afraid to uninstall the entire game incase reinstalling does not work, I'm not wasting 4 days on my crappy internet for it to not work. @bungie PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE! 😭😭😭😭😭

yep same problem, cannot afford another whole dload the internet cost would be insane. Bungie better fix this fast. Ideal way to lose long term players.

2 RepliesEdited by InfectionHazard: 12/19/2018 2:33:32 AMYep, same here. After the update the game doesn’t start. Reboot/reset/clear cache on XBox One doesn’t help. Switched from CoD to Destiny.. Never had this much problems with a game before. Is this company run by amateurs?

Same damn issue! Never had a problem and now the game won’t work at. Already started to download it all again! Not happy!
