I have run Strange Terrain 90 times, and I still haven't gotten the Braytech Osprey rocket launcher. I used my game history from the Destiny Companion app to figure this out. I did my initial run to get a high score (not included in my count), then did mostly speedruns, with a few additional high score runs scattered throughout. Specifically, I had 1 high score run followed by 52 speedruns and 3 high score runs in the week of November 13-November 19. All of those runs were on my titan. My game history actually has 61 Strange Terrain entries from that week after my initial high score run, but using the completion time/score/memory, I believe 6 of those were not completed attempts. During the week of December 4-December 10, I had 22 speedruns and 1 high score run on my titan, and 10 speedruns and 2 high score runs on my warlock. I considered that maybe the emblem variants counted as exclusive drops, in which case they would have reset my bad-luck protection. However, I am almost certain that I received all 3 variants within my first 25 completions, which would still leave me with 65 since then. I have not run any other nightfall since my initial Strange Terrain high score run. I really debated whether or not I should make this post. I don't want to sound entitled. I understand that grinding is a part of this game now, and I enjoy that aspect of Destiny. But it does feel like, with the bad-luck protection added in update 2.0.5, I should have received this rocket launcher by now. Is it possible that the drop rate is somehow bugged on my account? Or have I maybe performed a certain series of actions that makes it impossible for this item to drop for me? Please let me know if I can provide any more information that would help in figuring this out. Update: I finally got it last night. It was my 98th run. Seems like this is still worth looking into. Even if it's not bugged, the amount of time I spent to get this feels a bit crazy. Maybe some sort of hard cap on number of completions, at which point it's a guaranteed drop? Or make the increases from the bad luck protection larger the more times you complete the activity? The worst part of this whole process was that it seemed like there was no end in sight, and I was just wasting my time. That's not how I want to feel when I play this game.
