Very simple people, since timers are a nasty blam to deal with. Here's a great way to literally punch your way to victory.
For those of you who don't know, punching an enemy with a radiant core will apply a melting point debuff on the enemy.
On to the method. I've only tested this with Titans becuase Titan Master Race.
Step: 1
Equip Wormgod's Caress
Increases melee damage per kill and duration is extended per kill.
Step: 2
Run Striker -Code of the Juggernaut
Dropping an enemy to 50% HP will give you the knockout buff which greatly increases melee damage and you start health regen on any melee kill
Step: 3
Grab a Radiant Core dropped by phased enemies
Step: 4
Don't throw the core at the forge, instead use it to punch everything on sight, applying the core's melting point debuff on the enemy
Step: 5
Try to stack Wormgod's Caress buff up to x5
Step: 6
Once you have a stack of x5 and you are holding a core to punch stuff, everything will now die in a single hit except Phased Colossus, they die in 2 hits, and Phased Gladiators, they also die in 2 hits. Now, for the Forge Boss, it took me 5 melee hits to drop a whole health bar section down.
Disclaimer: Yes I know the title says One Hit KO and not everything dies in a single hit so chill its just a little clickbait to bring awareness
Tested on a 620 light Titan
Edit One: While fighting the forge boss, there are no radiant cores so run with a Tractor Cannon to deal even more damage. Void Melees that only trigger on kills are outstanding for this method since the melee will register as void even if the target doesnt dke and activate the melee charge.
Edit Two: A Sunbreaker's Hammer Strike will stack with the radiant core's melting point debuff.
Edit Three: Thether and Tractor Cannon stack with Radiant Core's Melting Point debuff.
Edit 4: If you have a stack of x5 on Wormgod's Caress, everytime you punch the forge boss it will stagger him, preventing hin from pushing you away and attacking allies, if you need to stack up again or heal, there's plenty of enemies around to smash into a pulp since they die in one hit

Somewhere, out there... there is a New Shift Supervisor in the Cabal Base, tasked with defending the Volundr Forge because the previous supervisor had to take "emergency leave" - logging onto Forums under a Hidden name, reading this type of shit and going...
F*CK SAKE
1 ReplyDid the orb smash approach in a round last night, great fun. Used Karnsteins and it regens health on each kill, great for me cos bad. Still didn't get to round 3 though! So bad. I'll have another go later, might try Winters Guile and see if that stacks the damage.

8 Replies3 Rando titans all show up in the same lobby. 30 seconds in and not a single radiant core has been thrown in. Titans begin to look at each other, all sharing the same thought, “I’ll take care of dropping ads, you guys can toss in the cores I leave in my wake.” 3 Titans resume mindless killing and don’t bother to check the objective again. Forge failed. :-)

7 RepliesTitan master race huh? Alright you keep Goin with yo bad self and your stolen winter's guile exotic. #WarlockCopyrights
-
Warlocks. Step 1: equip winter’s guile: increases your melee damage for each kill. Step 2: use attunement of fission - void melee kills grant an amount of void energy back to your grenade, melee, and rift. Or use the top/middle tree dawnblade - jump in the air and use your melees to repeatedly recharge your ability boosting your allies/empowering your melee attacks. Step 3-6 similar. I think the exotics work similarly regarding stacks (not sure though).

Okay this sounds insane and I'm absolutely going punch drunk tonight

Or just pop super them empty thunderlord..

16 RepliesForges are very easy right now, this is unneccesary.

1 ReplyEdited by Mister Wrecked: 12/12/2018 1:18:09 PMIt's way easier to put on your skullfort and shoulder charge everything. One hit whole groups of mobs and auto recharge your melee. Instant health regen. Fast super charge time. Add a hands on armor perk and you're golden. Way less convoluted than getting an orb and stacking buffs. Works great with ballistic slam as well.

1 ReplyForges are incredibly easy after 610, which was very reasonable to reach by now. Fun little build here, not optimized given that exotic choice, but still enjoyable.
-
2 RepliesStep 1. Be warlock with winters guile. Step 2. Run Devour spec. Step 3. Murder all the things.

I want kephris sting back so I can one shot gladiators.

That's sheer genius. It also sounds like a lot of fun:).

2 RepliesAs a hunter, I loved the master race joke! Maybe I should switch... Great stuff👍
-
Lol I tried using wormgod with middle tree hammers but its annoying af going completely out of the way to retrieve hammer or not being able to find it. Bottom tree striker is my favorite subclass in pvp
-
That sir, is brilliant

1 Replywould that work with Winter's Guile too?
