Why is there auto assist, and why can't we turn it off?
as the title says, Why is there auto assist, and why can't we turn it off?

4 RepliesConsole shooters need aim assist just to function well because an analog stick is very imprecise to aim with. I do agree that the aim assist is often too strong in Destiny 2.

In battlefield they let you turn off aim assist so why can’t destiny do the same🤦🏾♀️

Why are you aiming? Just equip and pull the trigger. Buff aim assist Also, don’t hurt me.

Most fps games out there have an option to turn on/off auto aim but I don't think destiny has that option lol

Edited by l09047: 12/8/2018 6:56:20 PMbecause people are bad at aiming and not willing to take the time to learn , but still require instant satisfaction. Also , the sway systems in destiny 2 are not very good. Guns don't recoil in random directions.

5 Repliesbecause console port....i dont mind too much as i can play with a xbox controller siting on the couch when i dont what to sit in front of my pc.....except for dumb aim assist like queenbreaker as you can aim at someones toe and get a oneshot head shot.
