I completed my 5 resets in Season 4 but have now heard that those resets are not being carried over. Now before you tell me that i should have completed it early on, hear me out.
Many gaming news outlets, streamers, and tweets having been informing players that the 5 resets should carry over from Season 4. For example here is a snippet from a GameRank Article:
For example, the Redrix’s Broadsword quest requires 5 Valor resets in a SINGLE season, so if a player doesn’t hit 5 by November 27th they will need to start the resets all over again.
Based on that information, many players such as myself have taken the liberty to hit those 5 resets before Nov. 27th. Once the new season started though, those players have noticed that the resets did not count at all. This is a problem. The quest step outlined that it needed to be done in a SINGLE season. This is unclear.
As such, this miscommunication should not be pinned on the players. There are many players who have day jobs and cannot complete quests early on. Many of us probably grinded out the quest during the Thanksgiving holiday. This needs to be addressed.

2 RepliesEdited by Sweet Lew 88: 11/28/2018 7:43:06 PMYou should follow more credible sources like Bungie, it is their game. They mentioned it in the TWAB like 3 weeks ago. A random news source may get it wrong or misunderstand. So if a random news source says that Gjallerhorn is coming back, that bungie should make it so because people were misinformed and believed it?

2 Repliesread bungies twabs its more accurate. "While questlines for Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten are available year-round, Crucible ranks will reset at the end of Season 4. Each quest contains a quest step to reach a rank milestone, and progress may be lost for these specific steps if you do not reach the requirements prior to the season ending. Progress for alternate quest steps will not be reset. If you’re in the middle of getting precision kills or completing Rumble matches, you will not lose any progress in those steps. If you’re within arm’s reach of Fabled or Legend, this is your time to make the final push. If you do not reach the rank you’re aiming for by November 27, you will be reset to Guardian and have to climb the ladder once more. If you reach the rank and complete the associated quest step before season’s end, you’re all set." https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47398 you have to reach the quest step for the valor ranks to complete it. if you havnt reached that quest step yet and you had the valor ranks it reset. if you did reach the valor ranks AND you were on that step meaning you already completed your 20 bounties and you just finished everything BEFORE the season you should have received it. you have to go off what bungie says not an outside source
