Anything after the fact was selfish, spurred by a guilty conscious for having been a dick to him for years and suddenly deciding that only after he dies you should care about him. You will never make up for it, stop acting like you cared. If you really cared, you would have been better.

I used to like Mara quite a bit, but now my attitude towards her has changed. Greatly. Cayde died helping HER people when she couldn't and she won't even pay him the respect of addressing him as "him"? Disgraceful.

None of the other Awoken, even Uldren, refer to others in such a disrespectful manner. Each full curse week, she becomes more and more unlikable

Not, a robot he was a man and deserved more respect than a stupid Queen ever needed. He earnt what he had wasn't handed it. I respected her at one point because I don't like the Travler because it does nothing except save itself and use others for its own devises. But I lost all respect for her and that little prick of a brother. She and her city can rot because I honestly don't care anymore.

That's why the devs left it so ambiguous, and even hints that peetra did it. I've used ace since I got and that was no ace shot when the screen went black that was dynasty. I just did the humbug emote disagreeing with her and walked off without the chest. She can have it. I wish I could've done more.
