This is Destiny in it's "BEST EVER" form?
Quickplay Crucible: Fireteams farming blueberries
Competitive Crucible: 5000 Glory vs 500 Glory
Gambit: 4-stack with Synthoceps, Well of Radiance
Nightfall: Too easy to care about, no matchmaking
Heroic Strikes: Renamed "Vanguard Strikes"
Strikes: Merged with Heroic Strikes for being pointless
Trials of the Nine: Removed for being dead
Factions: Removed for being pointless
Tokens: Pointless as vendors don't reset stock
Materials: Pointless as they can be purchased from Spider
Xur: Mostly pointless, unless you're new
Weapon Telemetries: Pointless to the -blam!-ing max
Mods: Underused because of inability to acquire components
Masterworks: Underused because of Enhancement Core cost
Bounties: Annoying to collect, can't be hoarded
Power level: Pointless if you're overleveled
Collections: Pointless since you can't retrieve most gear
Seals: Locked behind RNG
But at least the music/art is nice and gunplay is fun???

Yesterday I was winding down, playing some Gambit and got the auto rifle. Went to Jetsam of Saturn and thought, this place is beautiful. Did some bounties, but sadly nothing special. Oh well. You guys really need to take a chill pill and realise that these video games are not your job and you are not obligated to play them. If you do feel forced to play for example PVP because you NEED "that item", you're addicted.

You bring up some good points on how the game could be better. Let me remind you why so many feel that Destiny is in the best state to date. 1- more variety with subclass choices 2-theres always something going on week to week 3-there could be an epic adventure this reset, or not.(whisper/shattered throne) 4-gameplay is fast and furious, with many ways to customize your build in meaningful ways. 5-exotics are exotic! 6-the progression system rewards grinders but is straightforward enough for casuals.

It's not as good as D1. This is best state I've personally seen D2 in, but I only played the base game on Xbox One and didn't play any of the DLCs until I purchased Forsaken Edition on PC. At what point was D2 better than it is now?

4 RepliesAgree with everything 100%. But content wise, and the quality of the content it`s the best by far. You can take all content from D1 and all expansions + D2 up until Warmind and Forsaken is still better when it comes to content. The Old raids was good, but thats it.

3 RepliesI still enjoy the game, but I agree with most of the things on your list. I have tons of disposable income, but I’m heavily considering not buying the annual pass. I can’t quite wrap my head around Bungie’s plan to make people buy future dlc just to get the current dlc. I have zero faith in them and don’t trust them enough to spend even $35. I know it seems impossible for Destiny to die if it hasn’t already, but hear me out: making people buy future content to get access to current content, and then not releasing the future content and killing the game, is such a Bungie thing to do. I’ll be surprised if this doesn’t happen, to be honest.

10 RepliesAbout sums it up. What baffles me is why can they not give us matchmaking for the NF? Is it a technical issue they cannot solve? What is the point of forcing us to seek out a team? Gambit is broken, prime evils gone in seconds, 4 stacks all the F’n time with that garbage you posted above. Always a gimmick that exploits their inability to create a straight forward game mode. Achievements dictated by others behaviors, not skill, just the happenchance someone does what you need them to. An example, all I need for “Dredgen” is 6 more kills of invaders while in their Supers, problem being... no one pops their Supers now and if they do the opportunity is gone in seconds. Such a stupid requirement.

Great way to sum up this product.. But you forgot traversing landscapes : takes 1hour because of excessive load times during zone transitions.... In 2018 and they actually want more money to keep playing this shit? No thanks I'd rather invest in Anthem.

Played gambit all weekend long. Maybe I am also one of the filthy casuals. There are of course details I need them to change or bring back. I mean the absence of vendors is weird to me. There are still in the tower but you can’t even talk to them. What’s the reason for that?
