I've decided to stop playing this game today.
After having played countless hours of crucible I've finally decided I don't need the frustration of this game. I play video games to escape the reality of society being comprised of brainless followers and people out to intentionally ruin any amount of fun you could possibly have. Upon loading up destiny after working a 12 hour day (and waiting 10 minutes for the character select screen to load) I jump into the crucible and start grinding for one of the four weapons in the game worth a hoot (Luna's Howl). I'm greeted with 10 consecutive matches of competitive composed of copied and pasted guardians with nearly IDENTICAL cheesy/spammy meta loadouts. As you all know I'm sure, matches and spending a lot of time in orbit is never fun just to be met with this experience. It all amounts to a massive waste of time and a feeling of being punished for using anything that isn't meta. So needless to say I'm done with this game and it's toxic, teabagging, and secularly minded community. ALSO I know not everyone is like this, just a very large portion of the community, and for those that aren't part of the toxicity and brainlessness, I feel for you and wish you the best in your future grinding endeavors.

Well said Hemoplasm ....D2 crucible in both competitive and quickplay lists have become nothing more than a cesspit of toxic people , players purposely setting out to ruin the others gameplay .. Same hand cannons , telesto etc etc used to pub stomp casuals on quickplay list or just to ruin others experiences in comp list constantly not just a one off like some would have you believe .. Crucible is only a few powerful engrams a week so it can easily be left out of your gameplay even if you still need to hit 600.. Once crucible dies maybe then Bungie might pay attention..

Really though. D2 has had me spend too much money for the current state that it was in/is in. I paid 100 dollars at launch, expecting this to be an improvement of what D1 got right. Instead I got a heaping pile of content drought and no end-game. Then, I saw Curse of Osiris. I thought, "YES!! redemption!!" And we all know were that went. 20 dollars down the drain, for not even an improvement, just more things that require improvements. Warmind: cool, but lacking. this was when I felt that D2 was at it's highest. Then, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. when all of a sudden PC drop kicked me and then proceeded to step on my throat with my moms high hells. my friends left me to go on PC, in which they don't even play anymore. Sad boy hours. Forsaken then came out and I was greeted with the lack of money to pay for it and playstation plus. I was broke. I came to realize that i had spent 120 EXTRA -blam!-ING DOLLARS ON THIS DEAD-BEAT GAME. everything that we got in all 3 expansions should have been at D2's launch. Enough said.

Your right comp is D2’s cancer , the match making is a joke, the more people/friends you have in your fireteam the harder the opponents are you get matched against ! So you have to solo cue ! For fear of coming up against sweaty glitchy try’s. the game punishes you so hard for a loss you get absolute no where after hours of play, taking away any sense of achievement, and they think adding in sub ranks will help ! What a joke !

Side note: Saw this on another post can someone translate plz- Why not make a new rule for pro players, if someone have on Legends rank then can’t fight with who have under Heroic rank because weakness players can’t fight with stronger players like pro than noob. Also weakness players need does on quest for in glory crucible. This really trash this shotgun and Telesto. But why someone left them like 4 vs. 2 or 1 players in glory. This really rude and let they wins it than solo players who have weakness there. Too many pro and elite players in glory to easy beat weakness players in glory. They really need pass a quest of Luna’s Howl. Destiny 2 is trash now!

I feel ya, i think i'm just going to stay out of PVP from here on out. it's way to stressful. i'll stick with gambit since i'm at least good at that. These Pinnacle weapons though it's just not meant for some haha Got up to 1785 as my highest, lost a bunch and gave up trying to hit Fabled and focused on Headshots, now that i'm done headshots all that's left is Fabled, but I'm so burnt out, I suck, just don't even want to do it, but also don't want to play PVP while these pinnacles weapons are dominating. It's all good, like I said, it's not meant for everyone. think I'm down to like 1200 now, no point it's all going to be gone in less than 2 days anyways. Just hope Season 5 has more than just the new Pinnacle weapons to offer ( Can't wait to see what that raid's all about and I hope that Forge mode is fun )

I’m with you on that one with one exception... I get on occasionally to play with friends but it’s hard to have fun in destiny alone when all you get is the same legendary guns & legendary armor. I have gotten a a few exotics but in turn the grind isn’t worth it. I really love destiny and I am hopeful it will get better with Black armory but I won’t hold my breath.

2 Repliesyeah i really think limiting the best gun in the game only to those with high amount of skill and a really long quest line is a bad idea. now and i really think next season is going to be bad all the upper tier players are gonna be running a luna and a single nade launcher its gonna be brutal. a gun like luna should be slightly more accessible ive spend a fair amount of time trying to get it and im just now on my solar kills and at 1400 and there is one day left in the season

2 RepliesCountless hours and not one max light character? That incongruity aside, Destiny pvp is no more full of teabagging shitbirds than any other pvp game. If the teabagging is your problem, I'd suggest you aim your displeasure more accurately at pvp in general and not Destiny specifically.
