Archtype: Crossbow Type: Heavy Name: Revenant Intrinsic Perk: Inverse Mechanism Ability: Instantly fires a powerful bolt on trigger pull. Requires charge up to reload. -- Exotic Perk: Seek Life Ability: Striking a target causes the enemy to attack friendly units until death. After a short time, 10 seconds, the enemy violently explodes. If the target is instantly killed on hit, the target freezes in place and tethers up to 3 targets around it. After 3 seconds of being tethered, those enemies Seek Life until they explode. Note: A target affected by Seek Life cannot become a tether due to another hit. However, if the target is hit, survives the enemies, survives the explosion, and THEN is killed by a bolt, then it can become a tether. -- How it works in crucible: If a guardian is tagged by Revenant, all friendly guardians to that guardian appear as hostile in appearance. Just as well, all of his friendly guardians view the affected guardian as a hostile. However, no friendly fire is possible. That would cause way too much griefing This lasts 10 seconds. The resulting explosion does 100 points of damage at the end of the timer. This is mainly for misdirection and confusing the enemy, but also makes the affected target wary of going into a fight without a way to heal and survive the explosion. If a guardian is outright killed by Revenant (a head shot is required to OHK) then the guardian's body freezes and becomes a tether. This tether does NOT suppress abilities, only pulls them in like the Scorn does. If the tethered guardians do not get out or destroy the body tether in 3 seconds, they are all affected by Seek Life. -- Visuals: Taken in appearance. The Crossbow is coated in darkness, a dark aura appears around targets affected by Seek Life, and the tether body is drenched in taken blight as it produces the black and white tether. -- Honestly... this sounds really damn fun. And only really is used for mind games in PvP... much like it literally does in PvE.
