Since prospector is our only drum barrel grenade launcher exotic, I made another one. This one is for pve, because in case you don’t know, prospector is an incredible pvp weapon. Maroon Dawn “Look at the splendid suns, scattered on the horizon” Perk one: “Akatsuki”- kills create lingering miniature solar grenades. Perk two: proximity grenades. Perk three: “Ignition”- holding the trigger makes the next shot fired have less drop and higher velocity. Lore: -Sometimes the sun doesn’t come out. Maybe it doesn’t want to. That’s when you make your own suns. As many as you want. And when your suns set, rejoice, for you can do it all again. Lore: (alternate longer version) [spoiler] -Almost a year ago, I lost my fireteam. The other two had a habit of watching the sunrise. Maybe the snipers did too. There were 5 of them. High rank vandal snipers. I remember there was a bounty on them at one point. I was actually on my way to watch the sunrise with my team. I was late. All I watched was their deaths. That doesn’t matter anymore. I burnt the ether right out of those vandals. Then I got the inspiration for a weapon. Fire is quite effective on those who are gifted with the privilege of death. My weapon will create a grave for all those I kill. A beautiful burning grave in the name of those I loved. I missed that sunrise. I’ll never miss another. I will litter the horizon with a thousand splendid suns. I’ll keep doing it. Again. Again. And again. Until I look at the flames, and feel the joy that they felt. [/spoiler]
