I've read (and experienced) that Bungie has problems connecting to those routers. I've looked up many tutorials on how to fix them but none of them worked. I played this game before, around the time when it was released, but now when it was free, I started playing again because some of my friends downloaded it. It worked perfectly fine before. My question is if you are going to fix this problem any time soon or do I have to contact a technician?

It is not a Bungie problem to fix. The manufacturer of those routers did not follow industry standards and locked ports from being configured to open that Destiny 2 needs and using them for router services. You have a few options. 1. Contact your ISP and ask if they have a firmware update for your router. 2. Contact your ISP and ask if they have a different brand of router to provide to you. 3. Go out and buy your own router that is a different brand.

It's not something bungie can fix since it's inside their netcode. 99% of the player base has no issue because the router they use doesn't block the port that destiny 2 needs. Where as technicolour and Thompson does block it. So unless it was the other way around and 99% had cabbage errors then bungie won't invest time to change it. The easy fixes if the ISP allows it is to buy your own router rather then use the ISPs cheap router.
