Banned for no Reason

I believe I was wrongfully banned under a false positive. I've never cheated, haven't even played PvP, and have not been toxic to people in Destiny (I had played no more than a two days, and only with friends or solo). I honestly do not know what I was banned for. After the ban, I looked up a lot of related posts on multiple websites and am fully aware that Bungie refuses to overturn bans because they believe their ban system is infallible. Even so, I'm not going to take this sitting down, and figure I owe it to myself to at least try to figure out what's going on. Please Bungie, why have you banned me? What in the ToS did I violate? Can you at least provide proof of wrongdoing? Can you at least give me a chance to defend myself against this accusation? Before this, I tried posting on the Destiny 2 subreddit and Blizzard's customer support, just in case either had any relevant advice or solutions. I learned a bit more from Redditors, but obviously they couldn't solve my problem. Blizzard also tried to help, but explained that, to their regret, this was outside their jurisdiction, so to speak. So here I am, on the Help Forum for Bungie, trying to figure out what's going on. If anyone has any advice, that'd be much appreciated.

  • As if you haven't already gotten the memo, Bungie does not discuss bans and will not lift them. PC Bans are usually due to 3rd party software, such as cheat engine, running in the background. The system submits an auto-report with the information to the Bungie team. You'll have to create a new account and buy the game again if you wish to continue playing. You also seem to be mentioning groups of people have had their banned overturn because it's been misplaced. Clearly, you have either placebo effected yourself or have gotten false information somewhere because only 4-5 people got unbanned at launch because of the Discord overlay. Now, enjoy your day and move on.

Afterall, you read it and quoted it, know Bungie doesn't discuss it, but here you are asking them to go against their policy they have had for years just for you. They haven't discussed bans with players before so why do you think they will start with you? Note, I am not being a smartass. I genuinely am curious why you think they will make an exception for you and not countless others who have asked in the past.

        • Typically, pc bans are given for running (note...I didn’t say using) software/programs that can be used for cheating, modding, or debugging (such as cheat engine, artmoney, visual studio, etc) while also playing D2.

          • Bans are permanent and there is no dispute process. You're done
