Missing Encounters in the Last Wish
I just tried to do the Last Wish raid solo and instead of working my way up to Riven i was just thrown into the Riven encounter without having to fight my way to her. Is this a new change with the raid or is there some problem with the raid that Bungie is currently working on?

It most likely means that you have a checkpoint. You must have made it that far in the raid this week.
