Hello, I'm a long-time guardian. I love the work the guys and girls at Bungie are doing in Forsaken. But I kindly request that the 2x and 3x weekends be cancelled for all Multiplayer. I feel as though it belittles the accomplishments of those who have put in the time and effort to achieve something that no one else has. During the last two multiplier weekends for Valor I chose to grind through my Gambit matches instead so that I could finally complete my third reset (I'm almost there) and get the "Dregen" title. I sacrificed my Valor rank because it was more important for me to get the "Dregen" title than it was to get the Redrix's Broadsword. After all, I was told only a "god" could get the titles. So I figured "Well, they'll have a cool weapon and I'll have a cool title. Seems fair." But now with the Infamy rank multiplier, they'll have both and I'll get to be shredded to pieces in Crucible by the Broadsword while looking just as cool as everyone else. Add to this the fact that there was already skepticism from the community when the Redrix's Broadsword quest only required five Valor rank resets. We've currently had three, 2x and 3x multiplier weekends that have happened in the eight or nine weeks that Forsaken has been out. With all these double and triple Valor/Infamy weekends, it has made it even easier to get the gun (and title), which should only be reserved for those who put in the serious dedication in to get it. Which I'm sure has those who grinded the Glory ranks last season very upset. Friends of mine who don't even play much Crucible have already had three or four rank resets. When I read the TWAB this week, it seriously made me question what all the effort I had put into this game was if, in the end, everyone was going to end up with everything anyway, as long as they followed the prescribed formula. The TWAB was so heart-breaking this week, I have to decide if it's even worth picking up my controller to play this weekend. Myself and, I can only assume, a bunch of others are now looking at a heaping mound of wasted time if the multiplier weekends aren't toned down.
