I dare every guardian to lay down his/her weapons and fight the real enemy: Not the darkness, not Master Rahool, not Tess Everisss: RNG itself! Today it dawned on me that Bungie had its reason to make Brother Vance the most annoying NPC of all time. He is the key to overcoming RNG! I suggest the following: Everytime one of us collected a good amount of multiple 100er stacks of legendary shards he/ she will transmute these Shards in simulation seeds via Spider,and then turn them in to Brother V. [b]Who`s with me…?[/b] To make this scientific we have to agree on a way to execute this experiment: It is important to get the data right, so here is my suggestion: Preperation: remember to slap on any speed enhancing items (lightweight frame weapons, stompees, etc. I believe that a keen scout - nightstalker with triple jump and stompees should be the fastest class, but titans skating should give them a good challenge) 1.Start the clock, when launching Thieves Landing. 2.Run to spider 3.Purchase at least 500 simulation Seeds, if more, purchase mutliples of 500er Stacks (1000,1500,2000) etc. 4.Head to Brother Vance 5.Exchange seeds with him 6.Shard all Resulting items (remember all Kairos Shaders give shards also) 7.Stop The clock, when you have sharded the last item. 8.record the data in the following format [b]DATE|TIME|CORES|SHARD INPUT|SHARD OUTPUT|MODS|EXOTICS+|EXOTICS-|AVG CORE PRICE (NET SHARDS/CORES)[/b] 9.Post it here, so that we all can profit! [spoiler](Exotics + are new Exotics, Exotics- are Exotics you already have in your collection, Technically gunsmith materials are potential shards also, from 10 packs you should get around 50 gunsmith mats, which you can turn in to Banshee for 1,5 shards, but I find it far to tedious to record these also, so I will simply add 1 default shard to the output, If you get double exotics you can count them as 5 shards)[/spoiler] I will update my findings whenver I reach my next 100er legendary stack and have to relax between two ascendant challenges ;-) Happy Seeding!
