Auto rifles are terrible in pvp and pve and they need a buff
Why lower the damage and nerf the range in pervious to old updates. Now it’s useless against a pulse rifle. Bungie sure have a statistics data on the usage of weapons, everyone will use pulse rifles and not auto. Only a handful of players will and that’s me. Body shots is terrible compared to pulse, I shouldn’t be killed if my reaction was faster than my opponent and I still die quicker because I’m using a auto rifle.
So buff auto and why don’t you nerf pulse rifle range fall off, as it’s asinine.
Buff auto rifles.

1 ReplyEdited by Forest: 10/27/2018 7:45:20 AMThe 450s and 600s I use seem to e working fine. The problem is ARs are easy to use. If a gun is easy to use and powerful then you'll get a repeat of Graviton Lance (still waiting for that nerf). Nobody wants a repeat of Graviton Lance.

1 ReplyEdited by Dray: 10/28/2018 2:34:48 PMIf I’m honest I find the current roster of autos splits into 2 groups ones that rock and the rest, I’ve got a Tigerspite with outlaw, killclip, and HCR it’s a f*cking monster in PvE, not so good in PvP, I also dropped a Hazard of the Cast with Ambitious assassin and high impact reserves which I initially thought was a bad roll but it turns out to be rather good for ad clearing, and not so good in PvP. PvP needs to change for autos to become viable again, but how is the question, as a pulse fan I’m glad they’re getting their time in the sun but sooner or later something will change. Spare a thought for scouts, the forgotten weapon....

They only lowered damage on bodyshots. Try to hit them in the crit spot. It works better.

They say they will not nerf weapons, but bring other weapons up to a comparable level however that's rubbish. They have nerfed auto rifles, bows and scout rifles to name a few. You just need to play Gambit lately to see that the damage you do compared to what you did to [i]adds[/i] is pathetic. It was a fun game mode that was even ok as a solo player, but now it's pointless. The changes they made to this game has got me not bothered to do any milestones cos it's not fun.
