put yourself in this situation.
the world has ended. there was a virus, it spread around the world like wildfire. your friends, everybody you know, are all gone. you travel alone. you wake up every day to a lonely world, the only thing you can hear is the screeching of zombies and distant howls of wolves, other suffering animals.
you make a post to your favourite forum, offtopic. you were slowly losing your sanity, hoping there was someone out there, no matter who. you just needed someone.
you get replies. your heart lights up. your entire body is sparked with an enthusiasm youve never felt before.

there are 6 specific users alive. (your choice who) and you have two choices.
make your choice.
do you:
1) risk your life to make it to an arranged location with the other offtopic users.
2) stay alone and by yourself, knowing that the other users would eventually die, along with you, alone.

Though for real, I'd probably insist on picking you guys up over finding a meeting spot. I may be able to keep myself sane (well, in the same mental state.) alone but my willingness to help is way above my own safety.

Sure, I'd try it, better to have a goal and possibly people to talk to rather than descend into madness. While it would require more supplies than If I was solo, strength in numbers is valuable

I would begin a crusade to unite earth and create generals to lead them. Then I would expand outwards to the milky way galaxy and purge the aliens.
