9 RepliesSavathuns Song for me. The strike manages to tell a story in its entirety within 10-ish minutes using only gunplay and some dialogue, a masterpiece in my opinion. Plus the music for that boss is serious headbang worthy stuff.

I loved the D1 shield brothers, but D2’s really done good on improving the formula. Rather than “unload gjallarhorn at bullet sponge that looks exactly like a normal enemy, just bigger from a cheese spot” D2’s kept some nice mechanics to keep it from being a snoozefest. Inverted spire is fun, and still possible to instantly melt the boss, and I also love the arms dealer since the fight holds some great movement.

Darkblade from D1 was a perfect strike except for the Shrieker room. The Corrupted is incredible, but Warden of Nothing is hands down my favorite strike in the game. I love having multiple bosses in a strike. My fave D1 strike was the standard Shadow Thief strike (Taniks). Wasn't the BEST but it was my personal fave.

1 ReplyWhether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the cabal on mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the siege dancers from an imperial land tank...............

My favorite? Probably the Devils Lair strike, just for the nostalgia. I remember using the Icebreaker with the Weapons of Light WoD in the little room to the left and just clenching hard through that boss. Plus that was some of the first gameplay footage I saw.

Edited by UrBoiBOBBY: 10/7/2018 1:37:36 AMAhem...
Taniks, has no house. He kneels before no banner, owes allegiance, to no kell. He is a murderer, and very good at what he does. I have been tracking Taniks since wolves broke their chains, yeesss? Now Taniks works for Wolfpack, but not for long...
Being honest though, there was nothing better than having the weekly strike modifiers being solar burn and whatever the special weapon damage buff was called, and running a Found Verdict. For that, any stroke would work, but the best were Alak-Hul and the shield brothers. Nothing better than running up to the shield brothers during first phase, hitting em with melting point, and unloading about 10 shots, and they’re dead before they should be.

I’m personally a fan of The Fanatic. JK, I loved Sepiks Perfected, even if it was rehashed. That music.....damn.
