The fact that you need to have 60 Finest Matterweave consumables to achieve 60 cores per hour is no small caveat though.

Misleading. This is like saying “get 10 exotics a minute!” and then failing to mention it’s “IF you have 10 exotic engrams sitting in your postmaster”.

hmm yes, you can get masterwork cores very fast if you have tons of the masterwork core consumables ready to use

It's so amazing! ... except it isn't. You'd have to farm for Matterweave consumables, which aren't extraordinarily common. It makes far more since just to use the Matterweave as you get them when running strikes and such.
