The hypocrisy of it all
alot of hunters have become complacent because of how good the class was in year one. now they dont know what to do when the other classes are actually good too.
everyone was down with "no nerfs just buffs" until..
then warlocks get a roaming super that is as hard to counter as the arcstrider, granted hunters never had a ohk kill nade but they could use self regenerating fire and forget nades that could hit multiple targets, wheres warlocks have to charge their nade, sacrificing mobility for it to be a ohk.
warlocks have had a whole year of dealing with and adapting to ways to counter arcstrider. Nova warp is strong no doubt, but dont act as if yall were not crutching the last year.
stop asking for nerfs now that the playing field is level.
Further more to see hunters have blade barrage, and blade barrage being stronger than nova bomb, is great. i am glade that bungie can make a shut down super properly, it gives me hope for nova bomb. BB activating fast and the projectile itself being fast is all warlocks were asking the buffs to nova bomb to be. granted i realize the nova bomb projectile shouldn't be as fast as knives but nova still needs to be faster.

46 RepliesHypocrisy is campaigning for nerfs to another class whilst complaining about the users of that class campaigning for nerfs to the class of your choice. I've seen a lot of your wormhusk nerf threads in the past so you get zero sympathy here. You probably had nerf gemini jester and invisibility threads before then too. I personally don't campaign for nerfs in any way shape or form but I do like seeing nerfers feel the burn when it comes to their chosen class getting the nerf attention. Oh the sweet delicious karma. Sure there were some that were saying this, but Warlocks and Titans had their pitchforks out for quite some time now. Invisibility, Gemni, Arcstrider, Wormhusk, all of these things were being complained about. 3 of those things got nerfed (Arcstrider caught a shadow nerf to it's damage). Now that those nerfs have happened and Warlocks and Titans got buffed, said Warlocks and Titans just pretend like nothing happened ( just like D1). Don't be so surprised that some people want to deal out some payback. I hope Titans and Warlocks enjoy having people complain about things they like, because[b] while I don't think they should be nerfed[/b] I do think that payback for the year of complaints is fair game. Tl;DR While I think Warlocks and Titans are fine, the complaints they are receiving is fair game, Warlocks/Titans complained about Hunters nonstop for quite some time. Now it's time for payback to be dealt. Whether the complaints are justified or not is an entirely different matter.

With pretty close play times on all 3 of mine, i never felt any class was that far behind. Im not the biggest fan of Warlock, but its not because they have nothing good to use.

1 Replythis exactly - I am sure all the Hunter mains will jump on me. the forums are full of hunter mains cryign their eyes out that their class, that has dominated crucible for the entirety of the game, is now /SO/ weak. Just because some balance is now in the game with different classes getting different resources does NOT make hunters weak. Please stop crying for titan and warlock nerfs and screaming like entitled children for hunters to get MORE stuff. "baw - we want a OHK" (for no reason), "the uppercut shoudl OHK", "shoulder charge is broken" hand held super nova is too OP. classes have their strengths and weaknesses. play to them.

I’m willing to admit that hunters had it best for warmind, and I hated it. I hated how I had to use one exotic to stay relevant, and I’m glad that it got nerfed, andnthat other subclasses are better. Nova warp is a cool super, and I like handheld supernova. Saying that it’s “limiting” to use is a lie, because you can hold it almost indefinetly, and in turn, basically float forever. The super is my only other complaint, and it’s just the range of it. Reel it back a bit, and maybe hit burning mauls time down, but otherwise everything else is good

Like unlocking the slide on my arcstrider seems like it was a huge mistake because sometimes I accidentally proc it and I'll die immediately because it's trash. I think pretty much all the supers are looking pretty balanced between the classes

1 ReplyAgreed on everything, everything is fine where it is now, except the nova bomb, and that’s mostly because BB appeared, i dont see why nerf BB, at max it would be range and damage/aoe per knife? But that’s not necessary, specially if nova bomb is buffed, maybe take the self damage away, increase cast speed (for both forms), and projectile speed for “slowva bomb”, for both main bomn and afterbombs, with better tracking if possible that doesnt lose targets if they get behind or at its sides, all else is great right now, leaving us wanting more and more content and gameplay haha
