Powerful/reward engrams dropping at too low light level
So I'm 508 light right now and the other night I got a powerful engram for finishing a quest (I was 505 light) and the powerful engram dropped at 503, then today I turn in iron banner tokens and when i hover over the engram it says "509 legendary engram" but it drops at 500??? Why are engrams not dropping about my light level at all right now?

1 ReplyI just had three "powerful rewards" drop lower than my loot as well (Flashpoint, Daily Heroic Mission, 3 Heroic Missions, if it matters). If a fix comes, it would be fantastic to get those three rewards, or at least reset the tasks so I can do them for proper level loot.

The same for me with the weekly Strike and Gambit and powerful gear was same level.

Me too. Completed 3 powerful gear milestones or whatever they are calling it these day. Rewards dropped at my current power level. This shouldn't be happening Bungie.

Bump!!!! Was just about to post the same thing. WTF Bungie????? Why are powerful engrams dropping 5 levels below my max light?

I can safely say that Iron Banner is bugged(UI). Iron banner token award is not meant be shown as powerful engrame.

Same here. This is preventing me from enjoying the game. I am stuck at around 525 and the last 20 powerful rewards turned out to be duds giving me rewards at same light or 1 below.

Bungie... i just hit 540 and most powerful engrams are dropping at 1 point above my power. Screw that. I play destiny because its fun... and that makes it not so. period. im glad the game is more difficult, i like that exotics are rarer (maybe too rare though?) but damn... wtf are you doing to the game economy... way too many mats and consumables, have to go to the tower, petra, and the spider now before we even start daily activities... the frame rate stutter is SO DAMN REAL now... and the menu load times make interacting with them during activities a death wish (both on standard ps4)... bungie i hate to complain but this expansion as awesome as it is (and i think it is) it feel like it was developed by a bunch of different teams that weren't communicating with each other... please keep destiny fun.
