This is after buying 8 cores.
So total purchase is
1st core = 10 shards
2nd core = 20 shards
3rd core = 40 shards
4th core = 80 shards
5th core = 160 shards
6th core = 320 shards
7th core = 640 shards
8th core = 1280 shards
Total = 2,550 shards for 8 cores if you want to buy them from spider in 1 day.
-
9th core = 2560 shards.
I think this is just silly. Slowing down progress.

5 RepliesSome tips for those thinking they need to infuse their exotics that are sitting at 380. 1. Delete the 380 versions. 2. Go to collections tab. 3. Pull out a 500+ version for some glimmer and 7 shards 4. Cry about how many times you've wasted masterwork cores upgrading the old versions you had...
-
I just buy two a day.
-
The cost of cores for just regular infusion is too much and I have a nice stack of cores and shards, but I am only infusing my Reverie Dawn set and a few weapons and I'm sitting at 550 light Actually, sharded some additional year 1 gear that was masterworks yesterday to get shards. Sadly, obtaining additional cores are needed. Maybe as a chest reward for Heroic Public Events and Yellow bar drops. Hell, add Bounties to Holiday or the Gunsmith to obtain mod components and mw cores. Adds another glimmer sink

I've handed in over 20,000 tokens, saved from previous seasons, and am still shy of master work cores. I've got 1000 for each planet and faction in the vault and 6000 gunsmith materials, I'm not gonna bother with them right now.

Slowing down progress? Working as intended. Don't use what you want to. Use what we give you. The month 2, D2 experience has definitely kicked in.
-
Why worry about it, just go buy two from spider once a day, you’ll have a good bunch after a couple months.
-
Jesus what do you do that you can afford more than 2 a day? lol
-
Progress throttling 2.0
-
4 RepliesMasterwork cores for infusion is just too much. Just cant get my favorite stuff updated in reasonable time.
-
2 RepliesI usually buy 4 a day and still manage to maintain my 9000 legendary shards.
-
8 RepliesBy 1 or 2 a day per character.

I hadn’t played D2 since last October, so started forsaken with no MCs. I like the new system, it means waiting until your truly at the end game before getting that perfect setup that you’re after and it will feel rewarding. I’ve infused a few things that I like and still have a few MCs, just make sure to visit spider everyday for 1 or 2 cores. If you’re trying to play it like last year or D1 Y3 then your doing it wrong. For me, this system is feeling far better and means there’s more to work towards in the end game.
-
2 RepliesI remember you from year one, you were one of those people bitching that progression was too fast and easy. Hypocrite.
-
2 RepliesAre you fn stupid ....... not everyone hords everything idiot😡

"Progression"

1 ReplyThey need to add more reliable ways to get Cores. Who would burn through over 2000 Shards just for 8 Cores?
-
4 RepliesLol why would you buy them all in one day. Make a daily trip to spider, buy a few, and you'll never run out.
-
Fallout 4s Economy must have crippled you emotionally and mentally
-
As a returning player I only could bring 1 item up to light. Its like being punished for taking time away. Looks like the be i. The vault for a month or 2 again. Also wasn’t paying attention that they went up in price a blazed all 300 pretty much on 3 cores. Why oh why can’t you keep it just a tad slower than rise of iron. Some of us actually don’t have time to be playing everyday and we are punished. Feels bad man
-
4 RepliesGood thing you don't have to raid loot chests in the actual raid to upgrade raid gear for that 30 light le--oh right this isn't the actual slow af grindy af Vanilla D1 days were VoG was the only way to level 30 and being a level 29 forever was a thing
-
+1 This is just plain -blam!-.
-
Edited by lordCriper: 9/20/2018 8:24:45 AMThen don't buy them all in one day. I had like 10 masterwork cores when Forsaken dropped, I have around 100 now, and I have more shards too. And I don't even play that much.
-
11 RepliesYou can buy 3 a day you don’t need to upgrade every piece you own.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Portal154: 9/20/2018 6:29:15 AMJust delete your old year 1 gear. It's crap now, and you can get it back from collections. Most of it will probably already be masterworked, which means you get cores and probably mod components too. I clearned my items for just 2 of my characters, and I have over 60 MCs and over 60 mod components, and that's AFTER I've infused and modded most of the guns I like to use in various scenarios. Even a piece of armor or two. It's really not that hard to work around.
-
Why isn’t Xur selling them.
-
Kinda tired of flying to FS everyday, waitin' for that long a$$ load time to land... just to get a Beaver error before it loads in... "Aww F' it, keep your overpriced cores!"
