Redrix broadsword : valor rank reset not retroactive???
During the quest I did one reset thinking it was retroactive but now I'm at the final step and it shows 0/5 reset. Is that a bug or did I misunderstand?

Had the same issue just kept playing and it completed it.

I did the compete questline in season 4, also did 5 resets in season 4 thought maybe it doesn't count those resets you did during the questline. so i did 5 resets in season 5 too. [b]but this darn queststep didn't activate again.[/b] it would be a pity if this is a well known bug to bungie but bungie hasn't fixed it/ has no clue how to fix because we all grinded very hard for this weapon and would love to old one of those weapons in our hands @Bungie: Pls fix this.

1 ReplySo i did 5 resets during season 5 iron banner and grinded out the quest and none of the valor resets counted. W t F is wrong with bungie? How come for lunas it counts if you get to fabled before the required quest step? Its some B S and im not playing anymore till they fix this nonsense

Did mine in season 4 and nada, 5 resets, I've gotten 1 done this week so far and working on the next.. Ugh sucks when it's already been done and redo it again I guess

4 Repliesdamn i did the whole quest thinking the 5 resets were retroactive and now im stuck here in pain taking my anger out on light level 20 players in the crucible. but i guess if we all had 5 resets last season then everyone could have the redrix. im really bummed out but im ok with getting the 5 resets this season, ive already got 2 done in one week.

4 RepliesI reset my rank 5 times in season 4. while I was on the bounty step, the season changed. I completed my resets in the last season and it doesn’t give the quest completion post-reset. I thought Bungie said that is was going to be retroactive but I guess not.

1 ReplyReset 5 times in season 4.. not enough days left to do the bounties so I’ve just finished it today and it hasn’t unlocked. Reset Xbox. Tower and orbit multiple times... nothing. Gutted.

I got on the second to last step a couple days before season 5 started. Unfortunately There were not enough days left to do the 20 required bounties before reset, so I finished that step today after the new season started. Its now saying I need 5 resets within one season. Is it not going to count my 5+ resets from last season?

3 RepliesFor anybody that has problems with it, try restarting the game. I just got mine and had to restart and then it finished the quest step. Hope it helps!

I'm literally finishing up my 5th reset right now and I did the other 4 resets before I got to step 8. I've done 3 resets in the past 24 hours so I would have burnt my house down if they weren't retroactive

13 RepliesDON'T PANIC! Saw this on reddit: Valor resets are indeed retroactive. I was a little concerned at first because my final step did not complete after I reset for the 5th time. After a trip to the tower and back to orbit, it completed with no issues https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/9gkfr0/followup_broadsword_solo_grind/ Could one of you guys try going to the tower and back to orbit to check if your quest step updates please.
