Exotics rates are trash. 100 hrs no exotic
Check my stats i have been grinding. And it all feels dull. Nothing but edge transit after edge transit. I havent seen a drop period

D1 RNG is back. Be in D1 and have it be 1500 hrs till you get your first Gjallahorn. That is bad.

I got my first forsaken exotic Sunday: the queenbreaker. I haven't been so excited to get an exotic since d1. The rarity really brings out the excitement when you finally get one, unlike in y1 of d2 where I literally got every exotic in a month and every time I got one I was basically like "oh look another exotic whoopdy freakin doo"

Edited by TheWobbleWeezy: 9/18/2018 5:53:17 PMI had the game a week and got 2 weapons, 3 gear, 2 sparrows and 2 ships. 1 weapon and 1 gear came from gambit. 2 gear pieces came after presenting offering to oracle and completing weekly Petra challenge. I guess I’ve gotten lucky from what I read.

I've only gotten 2 exotics, and one was a Sparrow. The other I just got yesterday from Ikora's "20 Bounties" challenge: Two-Tailed Fox!

1 ReplySame here. I actually like the grind, especially the exotic quests. And know the joys of rng from D1. But this deep into the content and at 530+, I still have no Year 2 exotics, no max level 5/10 masterwork gear and no catalysts. Am starting to seriously question the time v reward...

3 RepliesBeen playing every day since the update. Not a single Exotic. I have no idea where they're supposed to drop from. Nightfall? Powerful Engrams? Prime Engrams? Bounties? Where the hell do they drop from? What should I be grinding?

That doesn't sound fair at all. Exotics should be Exotics because they actually are special items. Not because they are behind an RNG system. Lock exotics behind a hard quest line or behind an achievement, but not behind pure RNG 0.05% bullshit. Nobody likes that, that also was the fall of the vanilla Diablo 3, because only a handfull of selected people got all the gear.

You know what's worse ? The hours I've put in and I've had 3. 3 repeat drops. Of old gear I already had. 3. 3 times.

1 ReplyI completely agree, i never had this hard of a time getting exotics in the entire time i played destiny 1. Ive put maybe 5-8 hours a day into this game since saturday last week and ive only had 1 drop so far. meanwhile i have a friend who gets roughly 1 a day and only plays a bit more then me. Ive done all my powerful engrams for the week, got atleast 2 prime engrams a day, and never play without a FT medallion active.

All I'm saying about this subject is I grind everyday. Loads of hrs in, not a single exotic drop that I don't already own. I have casual clan members already with two and three new exotic drops. [spoiler] I'd bet it's based on how much you play or if you're casual you get an increased chance for new gear[/spoiler]

I got two forsaken exotics, Cerberus+1 and Oathkeepers within the last 24 hours. Both were from Gambit and Crucible Weeklys respectively.
