In PvP there are too many maps where you can't really fly because of ceilings and corners. You can go around the corner but you have to be lucky.
In PvE the damage is ok.
Yeah it's fun, but is it any good? I don't think so. We're off to fist of havoc again.

1 ReplyOh god imagine thundercrash on distant shore let's fly from C all the way the B now that would be a amazing clip
-
1 ReplyIts situational. Like Dawnblade, its best used in situations where you can really use the vertical dimension to your advantage. Too many of the Crucible maps are based on hallways and other areas with very low ceilings.
-
Sliding over ammo to increase your damage is the only issue I see with the subclass. It's very good for PVE.

Combo it with Lion Rampart (or is it Rampant?) legs and you can get some great flight time pre-launch to the missile. I'm enjoying the opportunities that can be created on some of the more outdoor maps like Midtown, but I do understand and recognize your concern. End of the day, I think it would be better to say it's "situational" and regular ol' fist of havoc is better utility in general.

I shattering struck a primeval right before a titan thundercrashed it, pretty much one shot the damn thing.

15 RepliesThe control is very good. I dodge all the corners and stuff, my only problem is the mini smash, it’s super weak in PvP...
-
I definitely need to play it a bit more but I leveled the subclass only in PvP and it was pretty good.

1 ReplyAgreed, lol why the downvotes?

10 RepliesEdited by Sausage: 9/10/2018 10:51:50 PMI love it. And the mini smash melee ability is great for slaughtering big groups of ads. And I use the skullfort so I always have it. Mini smash gives super energy too so my thundercrash is ready really quick.

May not be for you, I’ve seen some titans get easy triples on capture points and slaughter primevals

I dont know about you, but I find the walls to be a nice benefit to thundercrash. Ive gotten quite good at maneuvering with the super so when people may think they are safe behind a wall I can just zip around and surprise them with ease. Another thing many people dont see the advantage that thundercrash gives is that you can hit things in the air or hit walls. If an enemy is flying away where your normal FoH wouldnt reach, you can hit the wall they are next to or hit them and still pick up the kill. Plus its just fun af. As for the damage, it does the same (if not more) damage then a Celestial knighthawk GG. No lie. The baron adventures all got 1/3-1/2 hp taken from a single super, and strike bosses also lose about 1/3 hp from a single use. Its amazing

1 ReplyThen maybe it just isn't for you. I know it sounds great to me and it is next for me to unlock.
-
4 RepliesThat is because it is a PVE based super. It can trash bosses with large amounts of damage. Not everything has to be good in PVP contrary to popular belief.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Kishi: 9/10/2018 3:31:45 PMExactly why I went with solar lol. If someone’s around a corner there’s no way in hell you’ll kill them. They’ll simply get behind a wall. Ofr if someone is flying in the air you aren’t hitting them lol simple. It needs a rework.

2 RepliesMaybe it's just you. I personally do god damn fantastic with it. Just last night i used Thundercrash to pull off a win in Gambit just as the enemy team was gonna kill their Primeval.
-
3 RepliesI dunno. I was part of a six man multikill when an enemy Titan crashed on our asses using it. The blast radious is insane.
-
7 RepliesOn Radiant Cliffs: I saw them trying to take my zone at C. From the donut at B, I jump high up, kick my super and rocket toward them. I see fear in their eyes, knowing there's no stopping me. There are 2 of them, quickly realizing their days are numbered... [BOOM!!] ...get outta my zone...
-
It is more of a map design problem
-
I want to take it back to VoG and dive from the top (after Templar) all the way down onto a gorgon 😂
-
1 ReplyI'm loving it. Other than Code of the Missile sounding ridiculously corny....
-
2 RepliesIt's debatable. But Thundercrash is pretty strong for me.
