879 Hours played on my PS4. 96,200 Silver purchased since 2017. 400/400 Year 1 Triumphs completed. Masterworked Whisper of the Worm, full Escalation Protocol gear on all three characters (but just one weapon drop?), 40/40 nodes collected. DFA & Duty bound after close to 100 Nightfall runs, plus 50 rank on all three faction rallies.
And a Redrix Claymore. A gun that I didn’t really enjoy using until the last week of Season 3. The competitive playlist as a solo player was terrible. It’s still terrible. But I did it & after logging in a few minutes after Forsaken dropped & I logged into the tower to turn in the thousands of tokens that I had stockpiled, I was booted to the home screen & met with an account ban. Expansion plus season pass is now useless. The time I invested into a game that was far from perfect, a waste. Just when it was starting to look great, banned with no explanation.
I have never cheated in crucible. I don’t even like cheesing boss encounters. I have no idea what to do.

Looking through your recent Trials & competitive match history, there are quite a bit of matches that look sketchy (to say the least). While it may not have been you doing the shenanigans, someone on the team likely was.

You were most likely caught in the ban wave from activities and behaviors in season 3. they warned about the ban wave coming in the TWaB
Effective September 4, 2018, we will apply more restrictions and bans to player accounts that benefitted from opponent disconnects at a highly abnormal frequency throughout Season 3 with our improved detection methods. This will include “voluntary” disconnects when players are repeatedly matching against the same opponents.
https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47190 Either way: Bungie does not discuss restrictions or bans. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Bans are lifetime https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

If you didn't do anything then you have nothing to worry about. Submit a ticket/email to the support team and if they see no form of foul play they'll unban you. Most of their bans are not reversed though, and normally it's for good reasoning. They don't just ban people just because, you clearly did something.
